I am sorry dear, but I will join the outcry of all members of the Community who have already expressed their views. Yes this is a baffling decision to wipe out these colourful and fun tokens of our dedication to our presence in the Community and to our friendly and competitive spirits!

This decision will certainly have consequences in future threads and contests. Badge give away might not be conidered as highly as these can be earned but also taken away for no fault of our own.

I have not joined the Community long ago compared to other members; yet within the last 2 1/2 years only I have seen perceptible changes here, with the feeling that some of the fun and light atmosphere that then existed has evaporated. 😥

And I would really have welcomed a focus on the on going glitches that still exist in the new layout. This seems to me more urgent as they repel some members to express themselves here, than this badge update.
