How to use coins for power ups?

when I go to the store it only gives me he option to purchase packages with gold

    @MsOrleans86 - Welcome to our pet friendly community!  You can use coins (usually the minimum amount is 1000 so you need to make sure you have at least that much) to buy a booster - but only when you are actively playing a level.  If you go to the store it is only going to offer you packages you can buy with gold bars.  Also occasionally before you play a level - you may get a pop-up offering you to use coins to buy a specific power-up/booster.  For example I just got a notice that I could buy a pinata bomb for 1000 coins.  Please let me know if you need any other assistance.

    Check the screen shot here from @Pummy Raj. You can see the option to use the coins there when tapping the Booster you wanna buy.
