Deliberately making you lose.

I don't know why you hit it with a lollipop and then try to use the chocolate lollipop or whatever it is supposed to be...it came up with a still picture....that's not great.
once again the game is stopped here. I could have won once... now I can start all over again. And stole life again....that's not funny anymore....

@wiwiki, as I can see in the screenshot, the game is frozen as your opponent is ready to do an "illegal move"!
This is a known bug! If the game was not frozen, the next step would be the mwssage that "your opponent left the match" and you would be the winner!
This is unfortunately a memory issue!
It is better to clear the app's cache in your device!

Fourth attempt, 6 hours before event's end:
Opponent:
Arena 3:
A colorbomb is ready, but if I create it, I can get only the yellows!
I prefer a different approach, blocking the red candy in the middle:
And then doing a risky move: if the fish+ striped candy goes to the left column, I win! Otherwise all possibilities are open:
Finally I was lucky!!

It truly has become a blocking game! No one relies on skill anymore. I still try to keep to "If you block me, I will block you". Sometimes it's hard to stick to this strategy because I sometimes sense a "serial blocker". At that point, I am going to block you before you block me. One of the signs I look for of a "serial blocker" they tend to try and fill their blocker before they try to fill their hammer. And those that fill their blocker on the first move, they will block you every time! They start their own "block party" I now truly understand your exit now.

Yes @NatalieG!
I still remember the day back in early Summer 2020 when the "all boosters unlimited in two groups" setup stopped and we had not the powerful hammers available always and an old member said: now cagers will come back!!!
They came and they stayed! ๐๐

Hi Jellies!
New event and I entered to play on Arena 5!
I was playing 1st, used my cb, did the trick and used opponent's cb and was 1st 43-34.
Opponent creates "accidentally" special candies, makes twice superblasts (striped+ wrapped candy), but I balance and it seems to go to a tidy tie!
But opponent combines the reds in the middle and I leave/ escape, to avoid the 44-46.
So, next try in an hour or later! ๐

I hear you! Once they start blocking, it is a continuous and vicious assault! I can't remember ever getting blocking like this. It takes you out of your strategy and game plan. Whenever I start a game after seeing what Arena it is, I start my strategy of how I will play this Arena, but you really can't do this anymore. You are getting blocked at every turn. Sometimes as you said in one of your discussions, over blocking can have the opposite effect. The key word in that sentence is "Sometimes". I played a match yesterday where I was blocked every turn my opponent had a turn. I was down 43 to 20 on my opponent's last turn, when my turn came up for my last 2 moves, I didn't have to move at all. The cascading candies fell from the "candies god" because my opponent played so much in the "middle/common" area that all their efforts backfired. I won 44 to 15. I truly wish I could have seen their face as all their green jelly disappeared. ๐๐๐๐
