I am suspicious of some of the motives of the game. While I really enjoy the vs. aspect, three different times I have been spinning for my next opponent when I’m about to go for the turquoise chest and have had a “something went wrong ’‘ message and I can spend 100 bars to not lose progress. 3 different times?!? Come on King you can do better than that.

Yes, you are absolutely right to be angry for this "something went wrong" issue!
It happened to me several times and I was angry too!
However it is not King's fault and also it is not something that happened in purpose.
There are two messages that we receive when there is a problem.
- The No Internet Connection that means there is connection problem, not always on your side, maybe on your opponent's side.
- The Something went wrong message meaning that there is a different technical problem, not related to internet.
All players have to understand that a vs game connecting players located at different places in the world, has a lot of technical difficulties. The fact that RC is available only on mobile devices means extra difficulties, as players may be travelling, be outdoors, use data etc. If players were connected only using PCs, situation could be technically better.
The only thing that King could do to "bypass" these problems, is to remove streak! This has been asked several times by players here in the forum! However, I don't think that the developers could remove the feature of win streak, because it is a core factor of Royal Championship! Removing it, the game's character is altered! 😉

terrible that you don't have a chance to live in the arena for months...I can only repeat myself. It's simply impossible to win just one game..how can you find joy in doing so if it's just unfair..I have many, many screenshots. simply unbelievable 1. It says something went wrong? 2. The opponent always starts. 3. one waits and does not make any moves and in the last few moves he still decides the game for himself. . 4. The resources fill up a thousand times faster than mine... 5. Despite using good resources, you lose ...because my resources don't fill up 6. You get blocked up to twice in your opponent's 2 moves. it really can't be... And then you play against what's supposed to be a 15 to 20 series. have laid down but you don't even create a 3 series yourself and if so only because the opponent allegedly left the arena .. and not because the chance was there.

I am first into my leaderboard because of some good results the 1st day and yesterday!
However, I wanted to have a more safe distance and tried to play some matches today morning!
No chance!
7 matches, starting always 2nd and my opponents were winning in strange ways, regardless if in some matches I had 20+ points difference! The colorbomb was coming always at the end!
I posted this for you to know that this happens also to me and to other players!
But also there are times when I have better luck!
The realfact is thatfinally I am going to end 1st and get 15 gold bars, but this is not the real goal for me anymore!
My real goal are the "peacock" badges! They are very difficult from now on, because we are not able to buy boisters any more!! 😉

I don't want to buy any boosters recorc... I don't want to spend money... I just want to get further than just winning 3 games in a row it's just sooo sucks...I can do what I want...I play the game from the beginning and I've never gotten further than 5 times Winning games in a row that's not normal...I feel like I've been ripped off and cheated....It's just sucks. I don't believe in coincidences...absolutely not....especially when the opponent's resources are 3 times the same fill quickly if he makes 2 moves but can set the net 2 or 3 times but nothing happens to me....
The ranking is just irrelevant to me...
