Maybe that's how they show it when you didn't qualify for the final round? Since you didn't qualify, there's no more benefit to the tokens, so no need to show them? That's just a guess, but it seems to me it might make sense.

Absolutely! The boards in the final stage all start at the same time, so this time, unlike all previous stages, you only hurt yourself to wait.

Your idea that the goal of 210,000 for all 6 tokens so perfectly matches what I saw, and might indeed mean that I made the right choice doing what I have beat myself up over, playing that token at the last minute. I was on track to hit somewhere between 209,000 and 210,000 without the token.

Agreed. It is sad they decided to add them. There's essentially no way in 24 hours to catch up with someone with an automatic ~30000-40000 point advantage, and that's just ifone token down. Probably the majority of players won't even really have a chance because of it.

The problem is my lead was 5000 points, which is just 500 blues with a token. Someone could play it at the very end and slip the points in before you can react.

So glad you pulled it off! If my lead had been as big as yours I could have done it too, but mine was a little too close.

Actually I see that on my weekly race it shows 0. Perhaps the last 7 days were showing my last 15 from last week, since now my player card is showing 0 Levels won.
