Sounds like your PC is having a hard time processing the animation that occurs when a colour bomb is combined and freezes. I've checked but it doesn't look like the game is available on mobile, only seems to be on Facebook and King.com.

Was your progress backed up to Facebook or Kingdom?

If you're connected to Facebook or Kingdom, you should get a pop up at the start of the game where you can send lives to all your friends. When you're playing you'll normally get request from friends in your inbox to send lives as well.
