Did you connect your game to either Facebook or Kingdom before this happened? If you have then you will be able to restore the progress by reconnecting to it.

You must of used the Clean-Up Booster which turns all visible grumpy cropsies into regular cropsies. You get given a couple of those free after a hitting a certain point in the game.

That's the way the game is set up, gold bars generally don't get given out but instead you can get magic beans, boosters and unlimited lives for X amount of hours by completing promotions and challenges that regularly come up.

Just go into the game settings where you will find an orange icon for "Kingdom", just tap on that and choose a nickname, enter an email and password and hey presto, your progress can now be loaded onto another device by simply connecting to that Kingdom account on your new device.

What iPad do you have exactly? Some of the old models are no longer supported so you may risk having issues playing on them.
