You cannot change avatars directly from the game app and a PC is required to do so. Open browser > King.com > Setting > Set Avatar. You can also do this from a mobile browser if your mobile browser supports desktop mode. Open browser setting > Desktop site > Search ''King.com'' > Account Setting > Change Avatar.
