Yes @LeonieR1 as detailed above people's games freezing is quite the issue at the moment.
I really wish I could understand why it isn't effecting every player.
My game sometimes plays very slowly when the end of level animations appear and when things like the Choc Box or Weekly Contest pop up. It behaves like my game is going to crash or freeze but it hasn't yet done so
Behaviour like that I would assume to be down to my device's memory, but the fact that so many people are complaining about the same issue makes me think that King has done something wrong.
I am no expert but I do wonder if King has inadvertently changed something in the game or graphics that is causing our memory and/or CPU to be temporarily overloaded.
Does your device run very hot when you are playing Candy Crush? If it does this is a sign that your device is working harder than it needs to.

No it just doesn't connect and says loading but never loads. I have a Samsung phone and I've deleted the game reinstalled it, updated anything, signed out, it's not my connection as everything else works so I'm out of ideas
I wouldn't expect it to be your connection to be honest @katie80uk and as for ideas I think we have all run out of those when it comes to the quantity of mistakes King can make in a game they have produced since 2012. It could be that your issue is related to the current freezing issue that is effecting a lot of people, but I couldn't say for sure.
Connection errors such as the one you describe have been effecting the game since early 2022 and the issue has been 'fixed' plenty of times but never fully.
Unfortunately in reality the only thing you can do is contact King Player Support using the Help function of your game. Some issues can only be resolved by King.

Of course I think about it. Since I watch lots of ads, and since the old instant "Oops" isn't a thing anymore, I almost always enable color bombs and striped/wrapped before any new level or Star Tournament level, but always disable them for old levels. I used to only use fish for levels where the objectives were both jelly and sprinks. But now I have an overabundance of them from the short time they were in Sweet Cinema, so I generally always use them for now. The lucky candy I never enable if there are blockers in the order as well as sprinks, since that combination can be deadly. Usually I only enable lucky candy if the orders either have no blockers, or have only blockers as orders.

The game doesn't work
It gives bubbles, after the ad it doesn't... I updated and restarted the phone. So frustrating not to be able to continue. Even the help button in the settings doesn't work

Hello @Valencia1234_ the auto email is your contact with Customer Support.
Every question to Support results in an automatic reply. You then have to wait up to 72 hours to see if a Support Agent gets in touch with you. If you haven't heard anything after 72 hours then reply to the automated message stating that you still need help. Make sure you reply "above the line" as instructed by the automated response.
I am not sure how much help you will get now as no one works at King during the weekend
