I live in Europe, here new levels are released every Tuesday, which is 7 letters, NOT 9 letters .You provide 9 spaces for 8 across.

I can’t complete the puzzle because
8 across asks day of the week new levels are released , where I live, new levels are released on Tuesday (7 letters) but there are 9 spaces to be filled.

Thank you, I tried reaching out to support but went round in circles with a chat bot. Managed to get an email from support who simply suggested I join this community and then closed my ticket! I have just set up a King account and will delete and reinstall the app. 🤞🏼

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately it hasn’t worked. I’ve checked for updates, have over 100gb of space free. I’ve cleared the cache by offloading, shut down and re-started. The same problem is still there. I’m guessing the next step would be to uninstall the app, but my games are saved to my Apple account. I cannot save to Facebook or King as my score is linked to an old Facebook account and no matter what I do, Candy Crush reverts to this account and my app takes me back to level 1. If I uninstall the app and reinstall with Apple (iPhone), will my current data be saved as I really don’t want to lose 13 years of Candy Crush scores ☹️
HARD LEVELS
It seems that the levels are becoming extremely difficult to complete without purchasing boosters. I could be stuck on a level for a week and then finally give in and purchased a booster to finish the level to only find the next level harder than the one I just completed. The game is not fun anymore it seems all I do is pay for boosters to move on to the next level. I'm on level 18361.

I added one square to #9 🤷
In #6, I just used the unofficial name.
In #4, it depends on who the creator of the contest is. Since she's from the US, understandably the US spelling is used.
I'm submitting my entry. Hopefully it's correct. 🙂
Re: Chocolate won’t disappear
This is a graphics glitch @Schyster . The chocolate underneath those candies does not affect the level in any way. Just ignore it! As Moropante correctly said: You need to release the sprinks. The chocolate underneath the candy isn't actually there (it's just faulty visuals) and therefore did not cause you to fail this level.
