So I came back to this thread to highlight this idea again. Maybe you noticed that most of my comments/ideas are about making the game more difficult.

If nothing else, please... for the love of Crash, at least make boss attacks kill you instantly wihout a mask. I just finished 95. level fighting Uka Uka and it was unbearably easy. I accidentally got hit by his fireballs without a mask and found out that all it does is just making crash dizzy for a few seconds? At that point I completely gave up on trying to act that there is any sort of danger and just went in the middle 90% of the time letting him hit me with obstacles, fireballs and lasers- didn't make a difference because crash stopped being dizzy too soon. (those 10% are times where the dizzines actually went on until the next attack and I had to dodge). Like.. am I supposed to believe that Uka Uka's lasers and fireballs have almost zero impact on Crash? Really?

I like the game and all but for real... see this for what it is- a constructive feedback saying that if even the most powerful bossses from the lore cannot kill crash on one hit, what kind of purpose do masks actually have and how exactly are players supposed to really get into the game and feel the need to dodge obstacles when there is almost no way for them to finish you off?
