I made it to the final knockouts even after using all of mine in the first round of qualifiers because I wasn't paying attention at first and didn't realize this was a big competition. I figure a lot of people probably did that. Got 1st place on second knockouts without the multiplier. I have only been playing this game since late January.

What a difference two hours made? It seems strange and I wonder if you can offer any guesses as to what gave the cat such easy opponents compared to the dog. I fail to see the pattern but maybe you can spot something you did that may have influenced the strength of the opponents assigned? It's probably not much use to know now of course.

A suggestion to change the "Final Knockout" rounds.

For those who make it to the Final Knockout, it may be easier to have a total purple candy count after the three rounds instead of just moving the first place person forward. It seems it would be much easier to filter on the top 10 - weed out those who fail to meet the criteria of the game to reach your final 10 for the live games. If there is a tie, maybe you look at how longer the person has played, how much the person has spent in real dollars trying to reach the live show. I played two years in a row. Both years getting to the final knockout round only to not be first to move on and watching people playing around the clock without ever leaving. There should maybe be new rules about that as well…like a person must be be away at least 2 hours during a 24 hour period. This will be my last year after spending money last year and this year that I could have spent elsewhere. thanks.

Of course you were right. It became pretty clear to me in the next hour that no one was trying anymore, and that has continued to the final half hour. I know I should have gone to bed a couple of hours ago, but couldn't resist playing more Star Tournament levels for practice now that I've discovered most of them are as easy to finish (albeit sometimes a bit slower) without even any starting boosters. None of the other top 4 players have had any activity in the past 9 hours.

As a result, I have forgone my smartphone by keeping it charged consistently, and only running Candy Crush Saga. I bet opponents will always see me as "playing now"

Or maybe it's because you only play one episode most weeks, and not just in the one week before the event but all the time. It may just be that the app has you down as a "weak" player @Alienscar . It is obvious that it uses some grouping mechanism for players. I had tried to copy that by hardly playing some of my accounts the two weeks before All Stars but I'm not sure that worked. It was worth a try. In the end it's all guesswork and it's the outcome that matters.

😂🤣 @christinewupp I am the last person to think that anything changes due to player feedback. I've left enough feedback over the years to know King will still just do, what King wants to do. As for my Season Pass, that had never actually changed to playing new levels, so I haven't had any thoughts on that whatsoever. Not really to do with this thread, but being as you tagged me, have I actually seen anything change due to player feedback. Only two things stick in my mind, one being the Milestone Banner, but that was years ago, they did give it back after so many of us kept going on about it, then they took it away again. The other being Player Card names changed to Sneaky Melon Duck, but that didn't actually affect the way we played the game, just another glitch in the system. Apart from those two I can't think of anything else. Now guess that would make a good title for another thread 'What has ever changed for the better, due to player feedback' 🤔
