Have a happy Global Accessibility Awareness Day!!
Global Accessibility...what?
Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is celebrated on the third Thursday of May each year- that's today!! Wanna know some more about it?
First of all, let's explain a bit how GAAD originated: in 2011, a web developer called Joe Devon wrote a blog post to bring developers together and work on something that really concerned him: the accessibility gap in the digital world.
But why? ApproximatelyΒ 15% of the worldβs populationΒ has a disability. That means that more than one billion people could face daily challenges when using digital devices!
Browsing the internet, catching up on social media, or texting on mobile devices might seem like second nature to some- but accessibility-related barriers prevent millions of people with disabilities from easily using basic forms of technology and, in some cases, evenΒ discourage them from going online.
Devon thought this was not fair and that someone had to tackle this. He inspired Jennison V. Asuncion, and together they founded GAAD in 2012.
The goal of this day is to get developers, designers and creators talking and thinking about issues related to digital accessibility and people with disabilities, especially among the design, development, usability, and related communities who build, shape, fund, and influence technology use and change.
King wants to celebrate GAAD as well, and our teams work hard to provide games that can be played by everybody. π€

Hello! @Lola_Pop π
I am Buddhism from Malaysia. I study very bad at school as I have Learning Disabilities. (started from 2008 to present) But I think my English is still not bad and my Mathematics and Science always very good. Other languages are still very bad especially essay is my worst to learn ever. And I speak very weird and slow with Malaysia Language, Chinese Language and English Language. (Oh! The students laughed at me! π€£) But I did answered these questions on exam when I got answered. π
After the exam has resulted, luckily I have passed all of subjects. (except my Chinese is failed as very difficult) π Oh! I also love to play Word Search and Sudoku as these puzzle games are my best to do if I have free time! π
I have started to join on King Community on 14th July 2018 (as I start playing Diamond Diaries Saga on July 2018), I will like to use English as well (My English is still okay but little bad) to see what's exciting news on Diamond Diaries Saga and others. π
So I will trying my best to help players on Diamond Diaries Community and Player Corner with using English Language. I never give up! π
I hope you enjoy reading my little disability story. Everyone! π
