Deleted FB-friends showing up in the games?! (CCS and CCSS)
Hi,
I have noticed that people that I used to be friends with on FB but removed years ago suddenly pops up in the games? I do NOT want them there, and I don't want to risk sending them lives or anything, so how do I remove them? I want them gone asap :-)
I have noticed this in both Candy Crush Saga and Candy Crush Soda Saga.
I can't find any button to open a support ticket (have checked under Support menu), I can only read already existing threads, so I hope someone from support sees this. Or if anyone else can help me with how to write to support?

Unfortunately, there's no button or feature to remove those "friends" who are not in your Facebook friends' list. There are 2 ways to temporary stop this.
First, go back to your friend's list and unfriend them again. This may or may not work but worth trying.
Secondly, you will not automatically send them lives unless you click yes when the "send lives to your friends" screen appear in your FB games, just click on the X button and it should be safe.

@thessao Hi again, Not sure why your removed facebook friends would start showing up in your game if they have been removed previously. Seems a strange one especially for CCS as this game is only supposed to have your friends where other King games have changed and you can have random king and facebook gamers added to your game
Only thing i can suggest is try signing out of your facebook profile and clear the cache from you app store or browser and then log back in and see if this resolves the issue when logging back in. IF not customer support your best option would use something like problems with game and lost levels to get through to them and when you get the automated message reply back to it further help needed
There is a new feature comming to CCS called candy connections and this is to help you remove unwanted friends from your game but this has not been rolled out to everyone yet and for a lot this is not fully functional yet

@wykoon What do you mean with going back and unfriending them again? I deleted them from my FB account over 10 years ago, and they just showed up a few weeks ago in the "send lives list". Could you pls explain where I do this unfriend in the game?
As for the second suggestion, I want to send other players lives, but I am worried that I will forget to unclick them before I send lives to the others. I want nothing at all sent to these guys, so I want them off my list!

As for the cache flush suggestion, I am playing on my mobile (IOS) so I don't know how to flush cache memory on the iPhone? Do you know if it is possible?

@thessao With iphones you can not clear cache as plat using iphone myself, but i do find for some issues clearing the safari cache can help. not sure if it would help with this thought and you may have to eait for the candy connections feature to be able to do something regarding this. ~Unless customer support can help you figure this out

I guess it is on to support to see what they can do. Do you have a link? I can't find any link to customer support here in the community, only a chat bot that says it can't answer my question? 🤣

To unfriend them again, first log out from your game profile then go to the Facebook app in your mobile, search for that person by clicking on the magnifying glass icon.
Once you're in that person's profile, click on the "more" button next to the "dialer" icon, a list will appear i.e. Friends, See Friendship, etc. Select "Friends" or "Block". If you select Friends, it will take you to various options and one of it is "unfriend". So just choose accordingly.
After that, exit the FB app, reboot your device, and log back into your game.
To only send lives to selected person, uncheck all, then key in your friend's name under the search box and click send lives. It's tedious but you get to choose who you want to send lives to.

@thessao Hi try logging out of the game and then uninstall facebook from your device. then log back in to you game with your facebook account details and see if this helps. then reinstall you Facebook app

@wykoon These people are not in my FB friends list, and haven't been for many, many years, so I can't use the standard functions to unfriend them. They are only showing in my CCS and CCSS games, so this is not a FB issue, it is something in the King systems that have brought back 2 people that I used to play the game with many, many years ago. I want them gone since I removed them as friends for a reason... 😎
As for the risk of sending lives - I have fat fingers and a small iPhone so there is always a risk of not removing the x or sending by mistake 🤣
