I agree with her, personally I too suggest, "be careful what you wish for"! I like the fish and yes they are a great part of game strategy! Love the creative thinking behind them.

Nice to see this conversation taking such a great turn, will be encouraging to see how other housemates think, now she's made such a thoughtful contribution!

I find the fish to have both disadvantages and advantages. To clear the board of jelly they are mostly helpful (mostly but not always). But if you expecting to target a specific obstacle they not so helpful. I think they are meant to target random items.
