Here's a remake of my previous fan art of Denize on her electric motor scooter. It's her fastest means of ground transportation that takes her to places she can't swim to through lemonade rivers.

While I have declared that my Denize art is stopping, I found one more interesting idea for a fan art piece, but to keep my word, I must delete one fan art and have this new piece take its place.

This new fan art piece is inspired by Amazon Prime Video's acclaimed and successful TV streaming adaptation of Image Comics' adult superhero comic book series Invincible. In this artwork, Denize and her husband cosplay as two Chinese characters from the series: Dupli-Kate (right) and Mr. Liu (left)!

    invincible_like_a_dragon.png

Mr. Liu is a notorious crime boss who has the power to shapeshift into a giant evil Chinese dragon who is capable of terrorizing entire cities. To make the transformation as good as possible, a mere jade and yellow recoloring would not be enough. I had to make some modifications to his head to make it look the part.

Dupli-Kate, on the other hand, is a young teenage superheroine who has the power to clone herself, an ability she derived from a mysterious family curse. I had no trouble imagining how Dupli-Kate's suit would be tailored for Denize when she cosplays her.

I hope you are not afraid of what could happen if these dragons did pick up the powers of the characters they cosplayed! The source material is extremely violent, partly to drive home the point that superpowers are very dangerous and you should be thankful that they aren't real.

When an extremely rare feat in sports is witnessed by what would happen to be one of Denize's favorite sports teams, it's about time to show her team spirit in yet another fan art piece. But this time, it'll be exclusive to the King forum, unlike how all my other works are also on Reddit and DeviantArt.

Denize's favorite hockey team is the NHL's New York Islanders for just one reason: they have a dragon mascot named Sparky. The Islanders don't appear to be a good team during this historic moment, but they happen to get a brief moment in the spotlight when they give up a goal from the Washington Capitals' Alex Ovechkin, one of the most legendary hockey players in the NHL, who makes history with his 895th goal to surpass Wayne Gretzky for the most regular season goals scored in the league.

    denize_congratulates_ovechkin.png

It would be unthinkable for an Islanders fan like Denize to cheer whenever an opponent scores a goal against her team. But she felt obligated to do that just for once because this goal was very, very, historic in the eyes of many in the hockey world. Realizing that Ovechkin has gone a long way to reach this moment, she gives him a hearty thumbs up to congratulate him for achieving what was once thought to be impossible. And she still had fun with that game anyway, because the Islanders then shrugged off that goal and beat Washington 4-1 for a win the Islanders badly needed and hardly expected against one of the season's top teams to stay alive in the playoff race for the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

She can also take her Islanders fandom to the next level by putting on a Sparky mask and wing set, in a Reddit-exclusive version that I created of this image:

Note that both images do not show Denize completely because there was no compelling reason for me to do so and I wanted to make something quick that commemorated this rare sports moment.

Oh, no! Denize has suddenly wound up in the jaws of a giant carnivorous plant in the midst of Petal Peril!

    petal_peril.png

This terrifying monster is among the latest terrors to strike the Candy Kingdom in the new Petal Peril event that launched on May 12th, where four other characters, Denize notwithstanding, are eaten by carnivorous plants, and players must free them all, one character per episode.

I thought about making this lovely and terrifying fan art of a carnivorous plant eating Denize because I wanted to see how people would react when a monster like Denize, who could at first glance look like a carnivorous plant with her long and thorny serpentine body and her jagged jaws, get eaten by an actual carnivorous plant. Of course, as she's a tough dragoness, the plant that eats her needs to be big and strong enough to immobilize her, and it's absolutely possible to imagine a carnivorous plant that simply does just that.

You might think that carnivorous plants, being plants, would be no match for Denize's fire breath, but this particular plant somehow knows this and takes the extra move to completely stop her from burning her way free by clamping her jaws completely shut with tendrils shooting out of its deep throat and coiling all over her neck and head. To add insult to injury, another tendril not only wraps her jaws shut even tighter, but also forces her neck to bend, preventing her from moving her head freely.

She now looks like she is in very big trouble here! Only your candy crushing skills can save her now!

Bad has gone to worse for Denize, as she is suddenly devoured by the leader of all the carnivorous plants in Petal Peril.

    giant_carnivorous_plant_art.png

This fan art was based on the conclusion of the Petal Peril event's story, which culminates in a final showdown with a giant monstrous carnivorous plant (which I refer to with collective pronouns due to such character not being identified yet) that is leading an invasion of carnivorous plants. It shows the monster at their worst in exhibiting great audacity and ferocity towards making a meal out of a beast like Denize. While it can be interesting to see what's it like for a snakelike carnivorous plant to devour a long snakelike dragon, you will truly be horrified to see how this monster, in having some semblance of a face and powerful arms, exhibits an astonishing level of intelligence and strength not found by other plants in how they go about eating her. With an awareness that she's a dragon with dangerous fiery breath, they quickly wrap their massive tendrils around her jaws, her chest, her hips and her tail to completely immobilize her, preventing her from flailing around, screaming for help or breathing fire. Then the monster opens their jaws and proceeds to eat Denize tailfirst, keeping their tendrils on the abovementioned body parts until they're firmly down the hatch. You will truly want to hate that monster all the more after seeing this engrossing spectacle.

After designing a Reddit-exclusive expanded version of the giant carnivorous plant from Petal Peril eating Denize for lunch (where I show more and more of the beast's giant tendrils), I decided that it was time to turn up the horror a notch and deliver you a more ultimate version of that picture on the King forum where the monster's cruelty reaches new heights.

    ultimate_terror.png

Here, I wanted to show that the monster has lots of giant tendrils, so they would clearly want to use them to capture multiple unfortunate characters at once, not just to put on a show of terror. The two extra hostages I added to the picture, along with the other tendrils the monster uses to grab prey (note that I earlier said that they used four tendrils to seize, crush and swallow Denize) and root themselves firmly in the Candy Kingdom, are Olivia and Didi.

I first chose Olivia to be one of the extra victims because though the giant carnivorous plant may resemble a snake by growing on a long green stalk with a giant mouth to devour, their powerful tendrils also make this creature similar to an octopus. I wanted to see how people would react from seeing a big octopus-like monster eating an actual octopus like Liv. Look at her frightened face as the monster not only grabs her, but squeezes her tight to ensure she doesn't wriggle out.

The other victim would be Didi, Denize's most cherished daughter. I wanted to show this monster's cruelty going up to a new level in not only having an appetite for young children, but by forcing this poor girl to see her mom getting eaten before she's next on the menu. The monster has also grasped Didi in such a way that she not only is forced to see this atrocity, but is also unable to scream for help or breathe fire either to burn her way out. Though she is only young, the monster takes no chances with her fire-breathing ability and squeezes her mouth shut.

Now that you've seen this abomination, will you be all the more willing to slay this giant carnivorous plant for their heinous assault on the Candy Kingdom? I'm sure you want to.

In honor of the continued success of Bethesda Softworks' DOOM series and the arrival of a heroic dragon in its latest entry, DOOM: The Dark Ages, here is some cool crossover fan art of Mr. Dragon, Denize's husband wearing the wings of the cyber-dragon Serrat, ready to rain death on the forces of Hell in the Dark Ages!

    serrat_partial.png

The full version of this image is available on Reddit here, as Serrat's armor only covers his upper body. This focused image lets you see the painstaking, albeit rushed effort to reproduce the cybernetic wings of Serrat and imagine Mr. Dragon wearing them to feel like what's it like to fly. It was very difficult to painstakingly reproduce the wing harness' design from the original character to the long and snaky Mr. Dragon, but it still turns out well. I've also gone on to make the cyberwings transparent red for an extra bit of fidelity. Due to time constraints, armaments are missing from the wingset.

Here are two pictures of Serrat, for your reference:
