Thanks for sharing that song, I will listen to it later ππ
In my opinion, egg is the most versatile food cos it can be used to create sweet and savouy dishes! Also, it is the best source of protein in place of fish.
What is must-have item/things whenever you go out besides keys?
-
@lelensp Thanks! It was terrifying! @wykoon Most people today would perhaps say their cell phone but for me it's my purse! I'm a very small person but I like a big purse! My family jokes about the size & weight of my purse cause I carry everything except the kitchen sink! lol!
Bucket lists became very popular a few years ago & many people have some sort of a list of things/places that they would like to do or see. As I said earlier I'm terrified of bugs but a few years ago my husband & I visited a Butterfly Emporium & I held a tarantula in my hand. It was not as scary as I thought & check 1 off of my bucket list!
Do you have a bucket list & if so what is the #1 thing/ activity that you want to do?
-
Interesting sharing @MicheleHogg bout your visit to the butterfly farm and you managed to hold the tarantula on your hand. Mine would be holding the yellow python across my shoulder for few seconds when I visited Singapore's Safari more than 20 yrs ago πΈπΈ
My bucket list would be traveling to a nice beautiful beach with my bestie once the pandemic is over!

Question:Which country are you from? And please also share about your culture if you can.
-
I was born in raised in USA, but my parents come from the country of Bangladesh. A lot of the ways we implement our culture is with our food (lots of rice, fish, meat, vegetables, etc.), wearing traditional clothing at times, and practicing our religion
My question: How many languages do you know?
-
As I had always loved different languages, I became a technical translator working in both industry and commerce. I started off with Latin and then studied French, German and Spanish, followed by some Italian, Dutch and Portuguese - they've suffered badly from insufficient practice, except for French (we lived in France for a few years).
My question: If you were given the opportunity to meet someone of your choosing (past or present), whom would you choose and why?

I can't swim except float on my back. Despite not having this ability, I have snorkeled, sat on jet ski, play banana boat and go for white water rafting (grade 4) in one of the treacherous rivers in Padas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Yes, I had similar pic as below. Apparently, they installed camera at specific location to capture these moments and then offer to you but with an option to purchase ππ well I did bought a set to keep as souvenir. It was a lifetime experience, fun but risky at the same time π€£
