I write with my right hand, but I play sports with both as in batting in baseball I am a switch hitter and in basketball I can shoot with either hand as in a layup or hook shot, but I only write with my right πππ― go figure that out

I am left handed too. However I am very close to being ambidextrous so when I was learning to write in school I was trying to learn with both hands but ultimately switched to my right hand like the other kids. However I do everything else with my left, I even use right handed scissors to cut using my left hand. Itβs awkward using right handed serving utensils and I wear my watch on my right wrist and open hard and turn taps with my left hand.

@bearwithme look at all this new information that we are finding out about each other! I've always used right handed scissors. I don't even know if they had left handed scissors when I was a child. I use the computer mouse with my right hand. When I was working there was a true lefty working there and she had to use the mouse switched to left hand. I tried it her way and couldn't do it. I also wore my watch on my right wrist. I do both but only write with my left hand.

My grandson is right handed but needed a left handed hockey stick when he was on the high school hockey team. Everything else he does with his right hand. So it's the same as you. I wonder why.

It looks so awkward to use a left hand for the mouse. I never even tried using my left hand at all.
