i had a job, where approx 3 weeks a month, i was abroad living in hotels. so i used to buy 2 books each time. for something to do in the evenings. Sometimes it was quite hard living in a hotel, on your own, and a book passed the time. Work passed the daytimes.
So now on holidays, i take a kindle, and love to read a book a day, lazing in the sun. i prefer books to films, makes my imagination work a lot more. I think it is quite sad that books go for 1p on amazon. i think it is great to walk into someones lounge, and see a bookcase. you learn a lot about the person. So much more interesting than seeing a kindle on the shelf! But maybe i am just an old git.... :)

That's good to know that you are an avid reader. I wasn't really into books but I do like to read a couple of good ones 😅😅😅. After reading your comment, I think I will force myself to start reading again. I agree that reading stimulate our thinking more than watching movie cos reading is like "talking to yourself" (when read quietly), thus, the info seeps in deeper.
Hahah, old git = wise man 😆👍👍
