Today I want to make this post again, because it is important to me.
Today we honor women around the world. π
Why does this day exist?
Women are part of society and without women there is no society.
Women give birth to children.
In many countries there is equality.
The opposite: as with us in Germany, they are not well paid like the men.
In other countries, women are not recognized as women.
Women are just as human. That is why there is this day that women are honored.
All the best to all women in this world.

There's always the need to continue progress on things like salary and this is the case in most areas of humanity - Famine, Education etc
Also for me, it's a time to reflect on all that has been achieved. I'm thankful to have a voice when others may not. I'm appreciative of being able to have more opportunities open to women and the freedom to choose to take them or not. For my daughter to experience them also, if she chooses.
I'm grateful to all the woman before me, for generations, who have stood tall with dignity, strength and tenacity, to pave the way for the options we have today. To all those today who express kindness and encouragement!
To all those men who do encourage us to be all we can be, love ourselves and take a break sometimes, Thank You! It means a lot and can be just the right word, spoken at just the right time and in just the right way!
