Hi @pirata20! Do you do the traditional Italian Christmas Eve fish? I worked with a friend who was Italian (USA) and she told me that they always do 7 fish on Christmas Eve.

Hi Elsa, what you describe to me is a regional tradition, in Italy on Christmas Eve someone used to eat 13 courses of e (the number 13 comes from the Catholic tradition) fish . This is done in southern Italy where there is an abundance of fish. . I live in the north, only plains and mountains, we don't have fish and we use other meat-based ingredients.
