    😔 I haven't lectured you.

    I have thanked you, because by reading your comment I have understood the value of each cocoon 🤷

    The second row tells us that two roses (not buds) have the same value as a sunflower, therefore a rose bud has half the value of a rose, right? Without the second row we would not know the value of each flower and we would not reach the final result, if that is related

    @hechicerilla !

    Look closely at the ScreenShot on the Instructions. Try to solve the Puzzle without the Second Row and see if you'll come up with the same Final Outcome!

    Here is why the Second Row is Irrelevant.

    You already know the value of each individual Rosebud (First Row) - the 3rd thing to know since no clue as to the answer. You already know the value of the Sunflower Buds (Third Row) - the 1st thing to know. You already know the value of the Purple Buds (4th Row) - the 2nd thing to know.

    The Second Row should be dependent on the answer to the First Row but just like it, there is no clue to even figure it out.

    Rosebud (?) x Sunflower Bud + Purple Bud = ??

    Rosebud x Sunflower Bud + Purple Bud = ??

    Now, do you see my point? Do you see why the Second Row is Irrelevant, @hechicerilla ?

    No, without the second row I can't figure it out. Without the second row, we should invent the value of rosebuds and roses. We could invent the value we want and it would give a different result

    You are not seeing and understanding what I was talking about. You need to concentrate and pay attention to the illustration! There is no point to rehashing the value of the Full Blown Rose because it is the sum of 2 Rosebuds added together. There is no need to find out the value of the Full Blown Sunflower because it is not included in the Puzzle we are solving. I don't understand why you can't solve the Puzzle without the Second Row. I don't INVENT anything that is NOT THERE TO SOLVE. It is just understanding what was presented which does not require an expertise, just common sense.

    Can you kindly enlighten us on why the Second Row is essential and why you can't come up with the right answer without it, @hechicerilla ?

    Hello there, @Crazy Cat Lad ! A Maginificent Monday to you!

    As I was in a discussion with hechicerilla concerning the relevancy of the Second Row, I took a Closer Look on the ScreenShot of your Math Puzzle. I then realized that there is more to this than meets the eye since the First & Second Row have nothing to compare to.

    PLEASE DISREGARD MY FIRST ANSWER ON PAGE 2 although I am sticking with the same answer.

    Thanks!

    Below is my FINAL ANSWER:

    2 + 2 = 4

    4 + 4 = 8

    4 + 4 = 8

    6 + 6 = 12

    2 x 4 + 6 = 14 (FINAL ANSWER)

    Wow, I think you don't need me to explain anything to you right? You were the one who did not pay attention or look well 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You're welcome 👍

    But @mercerik , if you want to continue debating (without dispute) I'll tell you something. You can't put the same value on sunflower and sunflower buds. The latter must be half the value of the sunflower, right? therefore the second row tells us that two roses are equivalent to one sunflower I hope you have things clearer now. Without the second row we don't have the solution

    @hechicerilla

    I explained it to you extensively. It is funny you are insisting but you can't explain how the Second Row is factored in. If you did the calculations, you can explain it without revealing your answer. Another funny thing is we could both be wrong. I am still puzzled with the math puzzle, not having values on the first and second rows to compare to. I changed my original answer because I am not convinced of my final outcome. I believe the 2nd and the 3rd row shouldn't have the same value.

    If we're both wrong, we can just both laugh at each other or we'll have some laughs which we need in this abnormal normal situation worldwide. To be honest with you I am getting too damn bored with being cooped-up inside.
