I’m one of the disabled. I can only play a short time because of arthritis. I’m also on disability and it’s hard to play-and win-if you don’t spend actual money which can’t be done on a limited budget
Hi @wandaglvr thank you for your message. I am going to tag @TheFishsta to read your message. She is seeking players for a project but I am not sure how she is choosing helpers.
Thank you for bringing awareness of others to the needs of those with disabilities. It speaks to the value of the games that everyone should have the opportunity and ability (accommodations) to play!!
What a fantastic job you've done here!! I was pleasantly suprised when I saw it, as this is a great Community discussion topic!
Interesting, thought inspiring, relevant and shows you really care about our members and what they could be dealing with!!
It shows you've put a great deal of effort into it! 🤩
I myself and a few others I know who play the games and visit the community area, whether on mobile devices or PC have either cognitive, physical or contextual issues! We often dont ponder to much on the "behind the scenes" of people.
Arthritis isnt limited to the hands, even in the back, neck, hips etc. Language also affects those with PTSD, dyslexia and autism and even if their first language is English, I often hear people of all ages with those learning barriers ask why its so hard to learn!!
Thankyou for bringing awareness to this subject and substance to the community. I love how you're so committed to the community and so diverse!!!
