Hello there everyone!

Topic: All-Time Ambassador

What exactly are we voting for here? Is it for the entire King Digital Entertainment Games in this Community? Do you really know the scope and responsibilities of this title or are we just getting ahead of ourselves?

Knowing 2, 3 or 4 different languages are great for resumes. Match these with English Language fluency is outstanding. Having said that, knowing different languages are not enough, being flexible and ready to explain the ins and outs of any game level is a must. As an All-Time Ambassador, you should be armed with Game Terminologies to explain how to beat a level and not pass the buck to someone else because you couldn't.

Before granting this to anyone, how about starting an Essay Contest on Strategies on How To Beat A Level so each member can show his or her talents or capabilities. Winning this will give these members bragging rights and improve their knowledge of not only the mechanics of the game as well as improving their knowledge of the English Language.

To the Managers: @Pounawea , @Lola_Pop , @QueenMia , @LadyRaffie , how about an Essay Contest on the Best Game Strategy or Strategies? This will make this Community more fun and will be beneficial to members making them knowledgeable in Game Topics.

My dear, have you ever seen an Ambassador from this community "pass the buck" to another?

I'm not saying it couldn't have happened, I'm just asking you if you've seen it done, since the three current ambassadors are sufficiently prepared and informed to help any player in any matter. Obviously sometimes we need help, like everyone else, including SU, that's why we are a Community, we are all the same, players and also human. Do you look like the winner in that fun rehearsal for all King games? Maybe you have the best strategy in three or four of them, but in all? really? Probably in most games you would need a response from other players, otherwise I think you are wasting your time here if you are so prodigious (Edit by CM: bad translation)

Hello there, @hechicerilla ! What is your problem? I raised an opinion based on observation. If that hurts your feelings, it wasn't intended for you. Evidently, you have not observed this. I don't state something without evidence.

What is wrong with my suggestion of having an Essay Contest on Strategies on How To Beat A Game Level? This is a Community frequented by members who are frustrated in not moving up. A lot of these players are upset. If you are a Game Expert/Ambassador, aren't you expected to know something? Hey, you can't just say, "time-out, I am not ready for this yet. I am giving you a player expert". Isn't he or she "supposedly" a game expert? It is more like misrepresenting the Community. Granted that he or she is not ready, she shouldn't enter the discussion unless she has something that is concrete to help out.

I am not trying to impress anyone. I don't need to prove anything. My suggestion is just to make this Community more knowledgeable about the Games that we have here.

I have no idea about the rehearsal that you are referring to. I don't rehearse. I didn't say that I have the best Strategy. Don't put words in my mouth. Just because you said so doesn't mean it is so. You are over-thinking. It is not always about you. I don't have a beef with you so don't start it! BTW, why are you so confrontational with me? This is not the first time! What did I do to you? Be honest!

You already told me before, I do not understand if it is your perception on the defensive or if there is a language problem. Your words may hurt others (they are not exactly amabkes) they do not bother me at all. You have given your opinion and it seems perfect, but when I read you doubts are raised in me, and all I did was ask, to stop having doubts. I asked you if you had seen someone do it, I simply asked, and you have given the answer. Unfortunately I cannot translate the images, I am not sure what is said in them, but I assume that the ambassador did not respond to those players, and it seems normal to me. As I already told you, we are all the community, we all help in what we can, but nobody, I repeat, nobody has the capacity to help in everything, nobody always has all the answers. It is impossible to be an expert in all games, in all areas. It is not possible, so depending on the issue to be solved, sometimes you have to call other people to help. That's what the community is about. I'm sorry that your expectations are not met in the community.

Community is built on companionship, not on knocking others down.

Hi @mercerik, I do understand what you’re saying and you do have a point, if you’re going to be a game expert, you should know about the game you are expert about. I saw and understood your example and yes she tried to help and when it wasn’t enough, she did tagged the game expert for that specific game.

I can only speak for myself and not the other ambassadors, but in the french corner, I get all kind of people who need help or just to greet them. I’m not an expert in all games, that’s ridiculous, there’s too many games we would need to know, not even the SU or even the CM know everything about every game. But I can tell you is, if you come in the french community and you have a problem with your game, I will try my best to help, that means, I will search for the answers, look in the support section and see if anyone else had this problem before, I will ask an SU or ask QueenMia for help since she takes care of the french community. I won’t give up till this person is satisfied and everything has been done. A lot of times, it’s about greeting people, making people feel welcome and know I’m there if they need anything or if you want to learn the language ( all 3 of us are very passionate about that) we’ll help. I also try to make the community a welcoming place and a fun place for everyone to come and enjoy themselves with different threads and games ( every month).

This is what I do for the french community and I do it because I love the community and I enjoy helping people and bring some fun, this is my goal. It’s a beautiful language I hope some people can enjoy learning and for those who speak it already, can enjoy each other’s company.

Just to be clear, I wasn't knocking anyone off in my original posting in this thread. I never mentioned anyone until you inserted yourself in the mix. It wouldn't have come to this point if you just step back and try to understand what I said. This was not the first time that you confronted me on a posting. Your tone was somewhat offensive telling me I was "portentous".

@hechicerilla I do not have a language problem. I can easily convey my message to people, but pardon me, I am having a problem understanding what you are saying. This happens when you opine in another language and have your written piece translated by Google or other app or vice-versa before posting it without listening to the translation yourself. You are using terms that are not understood by English speaking individuals. What is "amabkes"? This is probably a word that Google cannot translate so it was just repeated.

To avoid confrontation, when a statement is not directed specifically to you or other people, please do not make the situation worse than what was said! it was an opinion. You took it so badly! This is a Community where anyone is free to comment. Let people speak freely concerning a topic. If no one speaks up, how can this Community improve? If it is a one-sided conversation, then this is not a Community. Opining the way you did not only started a confrontation that kept on going, you are suppressing people from having their voices heard. So please, enough of this!

To the best of my knowledge in the "outside" world ambassadors, represent on behalf of their people on all sorts of issues in a helpful manner. Here our ambassadors do this exceptionally well, not only in their own forums but in the English communities also. This takes many hours of work,effort and much translating. Well done and keep up the good work, it's seen and appreciated.

I like the idea of a writing competition! The counting to infinity games are not my thing but your idea is intriguing. Maybe that's something we could collaborate on to develop further, fine tune and explore, to make it something that is interesting for all members and pitched in a way that the @Community_Team can work with.

Game Experts are doing a great job and are the ones I would generally seek out if it were level help I needed and probably in the community of that specific game.

Maybe I'm a little confused but Im guessing the "all-time ambassador" is related to everything public relations, languages and public demeanor not necessarily knowing every single thing that's game related.

The guide book states that this is "our house" and to interact in a kind and friendly manner that up builds and strengthens the community in a way that reflects the values of king itself. Which is about games yes but also about all things community and people related.

There have been some really good ideas mentioned. I like the idea of a special colored shading for the ambassadors comments so it is easier to identify them

All-time ambassadors

Today I would also like to comment on this.

Unfortunately, I do not understand this discussion, as it has nothing to do with my contribution.

My concern, was that we ambassadors could be given a symbol and for every year what we are in office that it is expanded. It was meant as a recognition.

So the players would see it and more would come to us.

I am stunned by what has now been made of it.

Why are the posts not read correctly and then broken?

Unfortunately, I had it many times, I am very disappointed about that.

If you don't understand it, please ask us again.

Heute möchte ich mich auch dazu äußern.

Leider verstehe ich diese Diskussion nicht, da es mit meinem Beitrag nichts zutun hat.

Mein Anliegen, war es, das man uns Botschafter ein Symbol geben könnte und für jedes Jahr was wir im Amt sind das es erweitert wird. Es war als eine Anerkennung gedacht.

Somit würden es dann auch die Spieler sehen und mehr auf uns zukommen.

Ich bin fassungslos was nun daraus gemacht wurde.

Warum werden die Beiträge nicht richtig gelesen und dann kaputt gemacht?

Leider hatte ich es schon oft gehabt, darüber bin ich sehr enttäuscht.

Wenn man es nicht versteht, bitte dann fragt uns noch einmal.

Das wäre viel besser!!!

Dear Peggy @Spinnifix I read the Title of this thread ‘All-time Ambassadors ‘as meaning one Ambassador being the best of all ambassadors, which I think others probably have thought as well. I’m assuming by things that you have also written that you just want each ambassador to have a symbol showing how many years they have been ambassadors for. If I’m wrong please correct me but I think that your original post has been mistranslated.

In a community, I believe it is important that Ambassadors should be recognised - not just by its members, but for the work they do. Special badges to acknowledge their years of service to the community would be a good idea, as well as adding something to highlight the fact that they are Ambassadors. Thank you for all you do.

Thank you. I just wrote it differently and not very clearly. Because the players should come up with something for us. Because as I wrote, the SU have the stars. We have nothing. We would also like something. And it should be increased. For each additional year. Hope that it is now more understandable!🤗
