I like the plain original recipe the best. Cooked on a griddle. With lots of melted butter and swimming in syrup
When batter is ready pour in a greased frying pan or griddle. When you see bubbles start to appear in the cooking pancake, then flip them over for about another minute.

@PrettyBubbles @Elsa Happy pancake day, we don't have it in Belgium.
@Diamond Lim thanks for the tag
Love pancakes with syrup or sugar or honey or whiped cream or hot chocolate sauce and bananas, strawberries or just without anything on it.
You can make them with bacon, bananas, raisins and so much more, you can use less eggs, make them thin or thicker.
Ingredients for 20 pieces: +/- 30 min.
- 8 eggs
- 1 liter of semi-skimmed milk
- 40 g butter
- 450 g of wheat flour or normal flour
- 120 g of sugar
- 21 g vannilla sugar
- 1 tsp salt

Hi @PrettyBubbles and @Elsa
I love the good old fashion buttermilk pancakes. No one can make them like my mom could and I love them with Karo Syrup. π₯π
IHOP always runs some type of specials for pancakes. ππ€
Thanks for tagging me @Diamond Lim π

I use exactly the same mix as I do for Yorkshire pudding π eggs plain flour and milk but twice as much as my hubby and I love pancakes. Our pancakes are made thin like crepes and Iβm good at tossing them to turn them over. My hubby has his with butter and castor sugar I have mine with lemon and castor sugar. We both like them with banana and cream or chocolate sauce or most things really. We just have them shrove Tuesday but at other times we have scotch pancakes that we buy and toast, I like those with butter and banana on. Our scotch pancakes are similar to what others on here call buttermilk pancakes.
