G'day Newbies and housemates :0)

I've been wandering around today and seen a lot of off-topic comments in random threads.

Don't forget, once you've visited the "Don't be shy come and say Hi" for your first comment, you can comment your other 4 here, on any topic, so as not to cluttered the posts of other housemates by taking them off topic.

This might only seem like a small thing but manners cost you nothing and as you get used to The Communities, you'll want to avoid long page lengths and sifting through those off-topics to find what you're looking for lol.

Don't worry we've all been there :0)

G'day All Newbies,

I've been remembering what it was like when I first arrived here in The King Community!

So I thought I might share a couple of tips that I learnt along the way.

🌻 5 comments needed to level up from newbie:

It's always great to say hello to our new members, so why not make your first comment in the "Don't be shy, come and say Hi" discussion, usually all the communities will have one of these and then we'll know you've arrived. Someone is sure to welcome you and then you can make a reply and tell us which games you've been playing :0)

Also, check out the main discussion topics and see if there's one that catches your eye. Here you'll be able to make thoughtful comments related to that topic. This is not only supportive of your fellow housemates but encouraging for us also, as it helps us to get to know you 😀

🌼 When you're reading posts, it's great to give and receive reactions to them. This shows how you feel and is also a chance to help you and others earn badges. E.G If something made you laugh or you found it humorous then click the Haha reaction.

🌷 If you want to make a post yourself in the discussions, have a quick look to double check it isn't exactly the same as one that's been posted recently.

Remember which Community you are in, it can be easy to forget if you've navigated and post in the wrong one lol but don't worry, you'll get help :0)

Make your post interesting and think about the title, as this is what will draw housemates in to comment back and have a conversation with you 😃

You can also comment here if you're not sure where to post and it can be about any topic.

Thought I'd share another tip :0)

🌻 When you enter a discussion, it's always great to start at page 1 to understand what the person posting the thread is discussing.

🌼 You can always bookmark page 1 so you don't forget who posted it and what the topic is.

🌷 It's appreciated by everyone when the conversation is kept on topic and the last page will let you know where there up too on that or were the latest comment is heading and that's where you can add your own too :0)
