@nnarkis I was always at the top of Saga but like you, the levels have gotten much more difficult so I started playing Friends more often. I am not as far as everyone else and I started the game when it was first released. To me it's just as difficult but so much more fun playing with the characters. Do you find any specific character better than another? I love Yeti and Misty.

Hi @NikolaosProdromidis, I love the quests! @MountainMom I have so many outfits because prior to the Spring event, which I never got, I loved playing the events to collect their outfits. Maybe some of you missed those events and I think that's why the studio is repeating some of those events now so that the players can get all those outfits.

Yes, I find certain characters more helpful than others, but certain characters which donβt seem as helpful can actually be pretty useful on certain types of levels.
I find Yeti to be generally the most powerful on most kinds of levels. I also use Odus and Misty a lot too. Those are my main three go to characters.
Depending on the type of level or the arrangement of a level, sometimes Tiffi can be very helpful. On some kinds of Dunk the Cookies levels, Dachβs or Nutcracker can be quite helpful as well. It takes some experimentation and experience to find the best characters to use for different types of levels. Sometimes when I am having a hard time on a level, Iβll try all three characters to see if I do better with one over another.
I still am not too good at using Rachel and the Bubblegum Troll. Iβm having a hard time figuring out exactly how their powers work.
Now that Iβve played a couple of the Spring Stories levels with the Jelly Queen, she seems to be very helpful and powerful. I canβt wait until she can be a permanent member of my Friends team.
I am most impressed with the number of characters in your scrapbook. You must have played an amazing number of special events to collect so many. Iβve completed over 200 more levels than you but have 27 fewer characters. I canβt imagine how long it will take me to play in 27 more special events where I can win new characters. I would have thought that new characters would be unlocked simply by playing the regular levels, but I guess that isnβt how it works. I hope they will repeat all those special events again so that those of us with small scrapbooks can add new characters to our scrapbooks.

I'm afraid I won't be of much help on this discussion as I'm only on level 25 and have only collected 3 of the characters so far. I started three mornings ago and so far it has been quite easy to collect what I've collected. But I'm assuming this is due to the fact that I have only started - I have a feeling character drop rates will become lower the higher the level I reach.
@MountainMom remember, if you collect the little gift candies by crushing them on the level then you can receive stickers for characters and boosters, too - that's how I collected the second Tiffi one π

@whereishannaa that is a cool nickname! This message is not about the scrapbook and maybe I should never have even mentioned it. I just went back into my message and took out the image and edited the content. It should be more about how much we love playing the game or talking about our favorite characters that we enjoy playing with. I love the idea that you just posted and are only at level 25 and do you want to know why? Because you are the perfect new game player to tell everyone how you found out about the game and if you are enjoying it, then that's what I'd love to read about. It's great to hear from players who are all the way up there but I'd also like to hear from players who are fairly new to the game too. So please share more with us here.

I canβt recommend it enough, I only started playing about 18 months ago because I loved Candy Crush and the other sagas and didnβt want to download another. But I was getting bored with being at the top of my game all the while in CCS so I decided to give it a go, it is now my favourite game, I love all the characters and especially Olivia the octopus π and Misty the unicorn π¦. Give it a go Iβm sure you will love it too β€οΈ

My apologies Elsa - it was a mistake made on my part as I just assumed that's what we were doing hehe.
Like I said in my previous comment, I only started a couple of days ago. I said previously that I was on level 25 but I'm now on 31 and have added another character to my collection!
So far, I'm enjoying it. I like how it has some similarities to the other games in the series but at the same time I find I quite like the differences as those differences alone make it a unique game. I enjoy the different level modes and I like the collection function.
I'm looking forward to seeing what I unlock as I make my way through the other levels and episodes!

Also, thank you to other players who have shared their experiences whether collecting diff character and adding to the scrapbook and etc. It's a good platform to share some of the features in the games allowing newbie like us to decide whether it's worthwhile to play the game.
I've started playing this game at level 1 previously because I wanted to help a player and deleted this app from my phone because of low memory space. After being enticed by the interesting features in this game, I've gave it a go and play up to level 15.
So far this is what I've found interesting about the game:-
- The 3D image is awesome.
- You can choose the character to help you pass certain level as different characters gives you different boosters when we collect the required candies during the game.
- You will receive a special gift box after you've passed certain level that drop this gift box. This gift box will give you stickers to unlock character and also boosters.
- It is fun and full of surprises to unlock different character in different costume/new character.
- In Friends, you can match 4 same colored candies in in a square or a "P", "Q" shape to create jellyfish, just like in Soda.
Hence, if you are also attracted to the abovementioned features mentioned above, please try out this game! The only setback is that this game is only available in Win10 and via mobile. I hope it can expand to FB and other platform making it more accessible to players.

This is an awesome thread @Elsa. I just downloaded this game today after playing soda for years on and off. I love the games for all the reasons already mentioned by Wykoon above. The characters are so fascinating!The abundance of boosters provided in the levels and events literally lit my eyes up as i never had this sight in soda after playing it for years! I like the Spring event and Dachs Delivery for team quests that are available in my game so far. I'm still figuiring out how teams are made up for Dachs Delivery π€π€

Thanks for tagging me @Miss_Dani as I read along with others post and comments that have left their reasons for starting and continuing to play Candy Crush Friends Saga it makes me smile and even laugh a bit...reasons is because we all seem to have some similar reasons like the differences from the other King Games, and more for the likable characters, who attract us into the game itself, with being able to choose a character does give you a very useful experience in ways that help you win your levels it's so great when our characters gets the Almighty victory dance, and yes we love the dance. This keeps me coming back and will always.
