@Elsa I had surgery in 2014 so they could make space to relieve the pressure, the spinal fluid had completely blocked. Now I have to be careful not to put any pressure in my head or I get really bad headaches, just a bad cough or laughing to much can cause pain and headaches 🙄 I learned to be careful 😅

    Isn’t it beautiful 😍

Oh WOW that is beautiful and my favorite color too! That's great that you had the surgery and it helped but it's got to be difficult trying to be cautious about coughing or laughing too much. Can over the counter headache pain help at all?

Sometimes, but I also take a lot of med’s, some to help prevent the headaches, some for nerve pain,( I also have wide spread neuropathy, they have been damaged from my brain compressing on my spinal cord). I have Ehlers Danlos as well ( which is now link with Arnold Chiari) so most of my joints are damaged and I have degenerative disk disease, it hurts to sit too long and stand too long. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I take heavy medication every day just to be comfortable. It’s a delicate balancing act 😂 but one I now know how to do so it’s easier.

(((special hugs)))) for all that you are going through. So let's think something positive. What if we went back in time with today's knowledge would we be able to help those with illnesses? Or how could we help them understand how far advanced medicine has come and what they struggle with might have a cure or better ways to cope with what they have?

Thanks @Elsa I'm glad it's me going through it and not one of my kids. I would like to go in the future to see what the cure is so I could bring it back with me and help those of us suffering from this, at least I would know for sure my future generations won't have to worry facing what I'm going through.😊 Let's hope they are close to an answer.🤞

I think the response need hug or care reactions

  • @Elsa your absolutely right not a lot of options that was over 40 years ago . If I knew then what I know now I would have been a lawyer instead of an assistant to one 🤣
