Hi @Lola_Pop here are some of the things we do in my home.
We plant some our own fruits and veggies since big fruit and veggie eaters in our home. Meat is usually a small portion or not at all in the meal.
Glass and plastics are usually reused in our home,what doesn't get used goes to the recycling center. The plastics are mainly used for seedlings and saplings and miniature greenhouses which saves on water. We also use the bottoms of the plastic bottles and make pot plant containers.
We also use the glass containers and make themed jars filled with biscuits and sell.
I walk to most places I need to go to unless it a real distance or buying heavy items or having a lot of shopping bags to carry. We use mostly recyclable shopping bags, but we use some plastic bags as well, which gets reused often.
We also recycle the laundry washing water, I live in a water shortage city, province.

Climate change has really effected this side as well @Yorben_Goeree , its suppose to autumn, but summer is still holding on as well increase in new insects that tend to damage the plants. The good and helpful insects are disappearing.

I am truly happy that our King Community is really digging into this . I work in an environment office and those things mentioned are what we really do. Rivers and coastal clean ups, tree planting and growing, how to manage Solid Water and all that. Forest Land Use and Coastal Resources Management and the like. I live in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Philippines. By the way, we have coolest beaches too. π»πΊπ

@Lola_Pop thanks for the awesome Earth Month thread. I have planted many flowers, trees and shrubs. I live in Ontario, Canada.This is tulips I planted just starting to come up... I also planted all of thoses emeral cedar trees several years ago... : ) Happy Earth Day/Month to everyone π±πΏ
