Hi guys we hear your concerns and mostly its regarding the community failing without PMs but in reality they are 2 different things
The community is the open space where we all see each others activity and all can join in whereas PMs are behind closed doors and brings no activity into the community
The other is team games but they can still be played just in a different way which I am sure mods can facilitate this so as you don't miss out
We have a wonderful community filled with amazing people and there are no changes happening to our community as a whole it remains as was 💓

Most of the opinions that get me excited, interested & engaged....Do actually occur in conversations right here in the Forums, where everyone can join in & exchange ideas!
June is the Month of love - Was a fantastic example of this! I was able to move out of my Community, take a break from chores & really read all the wonderful opinions everyone contributed there. It totally rocked, especially since I had covid & needed a break from that too! It was encouraging!🤗
We'll always be here to help with Avatars, Signatures, Tech Support & Levels. Just tag us. We enjoy volunteering to do that. It's often better in the Forums, as this helps others who see it & they can post there too. I've often requested members start a discussion of their own on a game topic or place a suggestion or enquiry in Level Tips, so I can link it & pass it on.....as I can't do that from a PM, due to privacy.
What a good opportunity we have, right now, to converse with one another, whilst we wait calmly for the backlog & maintenance of the server! Awesome!! Getting the chance to move around, explore, meet new people who have the love of King Games in common! That's what unites us & brought us together in the first place!💃💃
Seen a poll or discussion you wanted to vote in or add to a discussion but never found the time before?
Are you a local Hubinator, Farmer or Jelly who wanted to check out another community but were too busy?
Did you think about trying different graphics to do art, write a story or saw a question you'd like to answer to help but just couldn't get to it?
A great comment/ topic might've caught you attention, when doing something else!
We just may have a little time now to get in there, to do the things we might've missed or didn't have time for before! Just saying....🤔😍

Hi everyone, just wanted to say I appreciate all of your feedback and just a small reminder that even if you have constructive or negative feedback - please keep it kind and friendly.
This is indeed happening because of a technical issue and while we appreciate all of your ideas for solutions - at this point we're moving ahead with closing the Private Messages. Please do not worry, we'll work on providing fun threads and spaces where you can have all of your conversations that were held in PMs as well. We'll let you know more on this is as we progress!

While I am doing my best to keep things kind and friendly, TBH, this 'we appreciate your input but we're doing it anyway' feels like a slap in the face. Apparently the mind of the studio is made up despite the ardent wishes of this community for a different solution to be found, so now it's up to me and others that are part of this 'community' to decide if we want to continue to support the builders or find another one.
Without a way to communicate privately with those I have made friends with and come to trust, I'm afraid you've ruined the community aspect for me.

@FluffyDinosaur @Lola_Pop I am in agreement with a a lot of people here. Taking the PM away is taking our privacy away, our right to be able to communicate to each other privately at great lengths. Communicating with someone privately is to share with someone personal stories, personal adventures, personal turmoils, personal affections with the person of your choosing. Not having the whole community aware of everything going on in your life and having everyone‘s opinions.
I have a dear friend I’ve been communicating with from the Congo for a year and a half now and we can only communicate here. We also speak in our mother tongue, French. I met her when I was the French Ambassador. We talk about everything in our lives, things that doesn’t need to be said in front of all the community. That’s why they are personal friends. I also can’t speak French in the community, you’re taking away the possibility for people to communicate in their own language to each other or the ability to help someone in the community with translation.
I’ve not been one to cause any problems when changes have been made, or when things happen in the community, @Lola_Pop you know me better, I’m not the type to start trouble but this is really upsetting me. If this is how it’s going to be and we’re not going to be able to have any way of communicating with friends privately then I don’t think I will continue my journey here anymore 😢 I hope you reconsider the pleas of everyone in this community.

I am sorry but personally I do not think that anyone with the luxury of still being allowed to send PMs should be weighing in, especially if they have a favourable position on this issue since does not negatively impact them. At least not to the same extent as everyone else. 🤦♀️
