I agree with @Alienscar. I'm also finding that there is a delay in receiving these group notifications.

If you select all notifications at the bottom left this will then show you the individual notifications 👍💓

Yes @PrettyBubbles but this is something that wasn't needed to be done before the comments were grouped.

So the new way of handling notifications is slightly worse than I thought.

This is today's view

As you can see there hasn't been 4 new comments there has only been 2. The grouping system makes the notification system confusing now as you can't tell how many new comments have been made. Clicking on the link just takes you back to the first of the new comments that have been made and that have already been viewed.

Simpler is always best. By having to click on all notifications just to check for the latest comment you have added a layer of unnecessary complication. Also by grouping every single comment as new regardless of the day it was made on has also added a layer of confusion. Clicking 'new' should always mean just that and not show me posts I have already seen.
