@wykoon New Year's Eve we celebrated in a wellness hotel. My husband booked a holiday for the family (including children and granddaughter) and surprised me with it for my birthday.
For the new year many events are waiting for me, it will soon be a bit exhausting. I'm retiring and moving.

On New Year's Eve, I had western cuisine with my family members. Despite having runny nose, I felt much better after a mug of alcoholic "cooling water" 😆.
My hope and wish for year 2023 is an improved economy globally and do more in preventing climate change...🌏

@wykoon We celebrated New Year's Eve in my house with family. Everyone made their favorite and popular dish to share. We enjoyed food, drinks, desert, music and lots of conversations until 11:57pm. We watched the ball drop in New York City, then we went back to what we were doing.
My wish for the New Year is for peace, good health and respect for ourselves and others.

Despite the fact that our crazy neighbor tried to scare us for two days with his stupid firecrackers, we still celebrated the New Year and, although very modestly, we nevertheless celebrated this event.
What are we looking forward to in the new year? We expect that our other neighbors, as well as our friends, will also stop being afraid of this vile but frail maniac and help us put a straitjacket on him.

I spent new years eve alone, but don't feel bad for me that's the way I like it. I stayed home while the rest went to my sister's house to celebrate. Any bit of time I can get peace and quiet I grab it!
As for expectations for the new year, not much just a bit of ease. I think the last few years has been hard on a lot of people, with all the events happening around the world everyone has been affected one way or another.
