I don't have a preference for any filling in particular, almost anything is good to go. Except for anything sweet, that doesn't go together for me with bread.
And of course, as long as it's not anything that supports the animal holocaust aka animal products.π±π

In Italy we don't eat sandwiches for breakfast but as a snack or as a meal when we're at work. My favorite is with salame, simply bread and salame or bread and raw ham with lettuce, tomato and olive pate . What you showed in the photo, we call it 'tramezzino'. And it's a small snack to eat while walking or sitting in a park for example

I love loads of sandwiches, they are great as there is so much diversity. I love a bacon and egg sandwich.
I have also roasted some of my tomatoes to make a homemade tomato soup which I will do some toasted cheese sandwiches.

Hi @PrettyBubbles. My favourite is a cheese, lettuce and tomato sandwich or one with tuna, sweetcorn and mayonnaise on wholemeal bread.

My favorite is a Australian mud crab meat and iceberg lettuce sandwich. Must be on fresh white bread.
