One of my favorite books when I was younger was "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain.

Hi@Lady_Choo .I used to read alot too in my teens. My mum used to tell me off for reading in bed. So, I bought a book lamp. So that she doesn't notice I'm reading..my good memories of my mum. She's not with us . Bur, I don't read anymore. I lost interest after I got married. But, I passed my interest in my elder daughter. She has book 's to fill my whole house. She loves reading like I did at her age.

I used a small torch heh heh. Admittedly I mostly read on kindle now as it has the light inbuilt and I can download books instantly. But books I ask for as gifts are always physical.

Cute badge and great thread 😊 I love to read. Mostly murder mysteries but I also enjoy biographies too. I’m looking forward to reading β€œMy Name Is Barbra” by Barbra Streisand. I’m on the waiting list at my local library for a copy, and I’ll be waiting for a while because so many people want to read it too πŸ˜„

Have you read any Agatha Christie books? You can never go wrong with a classic murder mystery! Hercule Poirot is my favorite character of hers. Poirot is a brilliant detective and he also makes me laugh because he’s so proud of his moustache πŸ‘¨πŸ»

    Level 2

I love reading Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged.

No candy references in it, but science is involved. 🀩
