What can we do to make the King Community even better? ✨

Hi everybody!
- There were some suggestions!
- The normal way is to wait for some answers!
- I suppose that it is logical that time is needed for the answers, regardless if answers may be simple!
- As I see, time is not needed for editing posts, I don't care for what reason!
- My opinion is that answers are not going to come!
- Wish you a nice day! I go to the beach! ⛱️ 🍹 ⛵️

Weli eksitpu'k Everyone,
Candy Crush has been a game for me to play for many years. My time in the Community has also provided me with an outlet for my input, including my frustrations with this game. Sadly, I thought about giving it up when I reached level 16400. Recently I just created another account and with assistance from King Customer Care, Candy Crush is now fun and relaxing for me again.
This game gives me the opportunity to step away from the kitchen and stop indulging in my love of baking, which is my biggest passion. I live in Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Canada, an island in the Atlantic Ocean. We have harsh winters that can last from October to May, even longer. I’m thankful for the outlet that Candy Crush has provided to me plus it’s a lot better for my diabetic partner, who loves to taste test my sweet treats.
I too volunteer and have provided assistance to Ukrainians who have fled to our province from a war torn country. But this thread is about helping New Community Members who are in need of our assistance and keeping them engaged in the Community. King is a business that is in the game to make money. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make a profit, but there is a problem when they ask volunteers to help them make money and then don’t give them any benefit for their time or efforts. I believe there is also a reward of 200 Gold Bars for providing new players with assistance.
There are many volunteers who spend a lot of time here helping other players. I think it would be great if King acknowledged their volunteer efforts in some way. It doesn’t have to be a monetary thing, but it would be nice if they got some kind of bonus or updated title for all their efforts here in the Community.
In particular, the title Pro Player seems to have caused some issues here in the King Community. I’ve noticed that new members are receiving Pro Player status with little to no interaction before someone who has been in the Community for years making many comments, posts, etc. while helping New Community Members in the process. Personally, I don't care if any title is ever bestowed upon me I prefer Boosters and Gold Bars. I come here to help other players, post comments and hopefully get responses to my questions.
My next suggestion to the King Community is as follows:
A post should be made for every title available in the King Community. These posts should contain brief descriptions that confirm whether the titles belong to King employees or volunteers, whether the title is still active or no longer available. Additionally, there should be information about how active the titleholders are in the Community, whether they should be tagged for assistance and/or who else should be tagged for assistance instead. This information would be helpful to new players because they’ll be able to accurately identify who they can turn to for help. This list needs to be updated regularly because players come and go in the Community.
I am also tagging @Alienscar @christinewupp @Carol-38 @cookiemae @Deryck @T0rr1e who have not posted on this thread. I would be interested if they have any input or have just given up on making suggestions like many other players here in the Community.

Have you noticed that some of the messages here have been edited because it's off topic from the message title? So I will turn my response into an on-topic list of suggestions for this community ………..
#1 Get rid of those house rules! I am getting so tired of seeing posts edited and being told to read the house rules. If they worked or if the community members took the time to read and reread what the posting requirements are then that would be a different story! Exactly one time I got a message from my so-called CM when I was a GM telling me that as a GM I should be following the house rules. One time ……… after being involved and helping players for many years.
The old way of running the community was totally awesome but I don't ever expect the fun and happiness to be here again with those "house rules". I miss the old original CMs who created the community and didn't edit and shove the "house rules" into our brain ….. but let's move on to other suggestions.
#2 Another suggestion is to take down the master list of ideas and all the ideas since they are outdated! There were only two studios that implemented "Go to ………… level ?" and kuddos to them! But the one game, the largest and makes the most money for King, never implemented it and look at the number of votes. Why have an ideas area if the ideas are not a priority for that studio?
#3 Another suggestion is to update my guide: A guide to help you locate the different areas in the community! It is still being offered to a lot of new community members and I know that because whenever someone, besides a GM, offers it to new members I get notified. It was created in 2020 and the links are still helpful except ………………………… The Player's Corner which was taken down! Granted that management might have thought it wasn't a success but for the 4 superstars who created it, it was! We never even got notified that it was being taken down. So someone please update that guide and take that link off!
#4 set up a beginner's corner for both new game players and new community members. Add a GM or two that really want to help new players and community members and not have GMs from other areas take over this area so that the new people have no clue who is in charge and should be helping! Maybe even bring in a new GM or two instead of offering it to those that currently handle more than one game area. The community needs new blood and new ideas!
#5 create a couple of polls to encourage community members to speak on what they want but when they comment please do not edit and tell them to follow the house rules. Listen to them and listen to the members that have been here for years and have seen this community go downhill!
#6 Get your GMs, who oversee more than just their original game area, to brainstorm on how to make the community a fun place to visit! Not just arrive for game glitches but to keep these new members involved and wanting to remain here.
#7 Now I expect the current CMs to come in and edit this message and tell me it's off topic and to read the house rules. Or delete the entire message without even wanting to know why my anger is noticeable in this post!

Some really good points there @_Elsa_ ! Especially the one about the House Rules and the off topic problem. I have fallen foul of that one and it also means that too often contributors lose their own posts and just cannot find them. It has happened to me numerous times. My post gets moved elsewhere and the only way I can locate it is by going into my profile. Even then when I find the post through my profile, I still don't know where it actually has been moved to or where anyone else can read or find it. Aggravating!

Thanks for tagging me @Colleen12 as I was not even aware this thread existed!
In fact I seem to have slithered into a role in this community that I am somewhat uncomfortable with and I would not like any title for any of my contributions, so much is for sure. I enjoy figuring out how the game works and that is the basis of most of my helpful comments in the community. But it's not something I do to help King run the community and I don't want to be seen as a quasi moderator! I feel that the moment we get rewarded for being helpful this then does put pressure on us to remain sweet and reduce the critical remarks. It's a bit of a psychological trick to keep the critics that won't go away on the sweet side of the establishment…..I don't like that aspect of it and to be quite honest it makes me all feel a bit uneased.

Just seen your tag @Colleen12 I haven't been checking the Community much lately and hadn't seen this thread. It's my last day in Greece, starting to pack the cases and get ready for our last evening. Will be home tomorrow afternoon, will try and read everything once I'm home and settled and maybe comment. But to be honest there are so many things I have commented/voted on over the years and nothing changes for the better so I just might not bother 🙄

Hi @Carol-38, that's a very old signature that I created for you. Would you like a new custom signature? If so, you can click …, complete the contact form and we can brain storm a new signature for you. My new signatures no longer have my name on it, like the one that you have now, so when you're ready just let me know and I can have loads of fun making new ones for you!

Hello @Spinnifix
As I expressed before about what made me stay here in the Community was because of you.
You came to help me right away when I was kind of lost here in the Community for the first time. You were a Moderator at that time (a volunteer) in 2019.
I don’t believe at all that you are here in the Community hoping to get materially rewarded (gifts or bonuses) by King for helping others in this Community. No way!
Let’s be clear about the work of a volunteer depending on which area or Community they are helping.
“=Volunteering is when you choose to give your time to help others without being paid. While you volunteer, you may also receive benefits or compensation for the work you do by organizers and even from a Government depending on the area you’re volunteering”
You never ask for any of that. You have expressed here in several ocasions that the love and gratitude from the players has being more than rewarding to you!
Let us not to be confused and at some point trying to minimize the work that she has being doing. The least we can do is to Thank her for helping others members. Again, she is not asking for that, but it will make her happy and more motivated to continue doing what she loves. She wanted all this time to become a Moderator again with the only purpose of continue helping other members of the Community. Especially Newcomers.
I truly believe that @Spinnifix and many other members of the Community that have contributed a lot (volunteered) to make this Community better, should receive a public recognition here.I hope one day all of you get rewarded because you deserve it!
Thank you for volunteering in this Community! 🙏🏻❤️Sincerely,

This is perfect and I whole heartedly agree with you. This post like many others will probably be against house rules. If were trying to keep New Community Members here we have to keep the loyal compassionate ones here in the Community. Keep them happy about doing what they do best helping others whether they are new to the Community, long time Community Members or recycled new players like me.
Have a great day🙂
