Meet the Kingsters - Meet Hijinx, Level Designer for Farm Heroes Saga!

The Community is a great place to get to know each other, but what about knowing the people behind the magic of the Kingdom?
We thought it would be a great idea to share some of the personalities from behind the scenes and meet fantastic Kingsters!
These are the minds that create all this delicious universe: From Game Artists, Level Designers, Content Specialists, Game Producers and Customer Support Agents - all of them are included, so come and meet the team.
This week, we sat down with @Hijinx one of our talented Level Designer for Farm Heroes and here is what we got to know!
"Hi everyone!
I'm Jinx - a level designer on Farm Heroes Saga. I have been helping to make lots of lovely levels and improvements to the content in the game for the past year along with the rest of the amazing level design team! We hope we can provide a great experience to you all and improve the things that we make for you

"- Tell us 3 funny things about yourself
. I have a very large collection of game statues and models on my desk, and at home – and it’s still growing!
. I wanted to be a journalist before I realised that there are university courses which teach game development. I couldn’t believe it!
- If you were a King game, which one would you be? I would be Pet Rescue Puzzle. I love animals – especially dogs! – and would love to have a bunch of pets one day.
- If you were a candy? I would be Lemon Cheesecake. Does that count? I love the taste of sweet lemon desserts and the colour yellow is my favourite. So bright!
- If you were a game character? I would be Hunter from Farm. He likes to help out his friends whenever they need, and I like to do the same!
- If you were a video game? I would be ‘Outer Wilds’, because it’s all about discovery and learning, which is something I love to do in my life.
- What's your favourite food? I have loads of favourite food, it’s hard to pick! I really love gyoza and fried chicken bento boxes. There’s so many kinds of eateries around the King offices that there’s always something new to try.
- Is there something that you would like to tell our players?
"We are super excited about what we are working on in Farm, and are always looking for feedback from the community forums. We ask the community a question about the game every two weeks, and what you have to say is very important, so don’t be shy!"

Love it @Hijinx, now less of the eateries...are there a variety of coffee shops around King? More importantly
We have shelves at home with hubbies grown up toys on. Star wars figures, doctor who etc. Not games, but important stuffs.
I love FHS (clearly) I really love all the cute little noises they make, its the only game I have sound on

I also commend the Star Wars and Doctor Who figures - I love those things too!
The cropsie noises are so cute. When I started working on Farm, my parents downloaded the game, and sometimes when we were on the phone I'd hear the little cropsie noises in the background! -
Great tattoo @Hijinx - unfortunately I don't know which video game. I primarily just play King games 😃😆 (many years ago I played DOOM). I collect bears (I have over 1000) so I definitely don't have any room for action figures/game figures. I also like @Chicken_Slayer, love the sounds the characters make in the game - especially the sheep when it lands on the hay! 🤗
Do you help create the different items/challenges in the game? Like the oysters? They are cute, such an interesting thing to find on a farm. -

Thanks everyone! I've always been passionate about communities in games and it's really awesome seeing how interactive and lovely the King community is.
@bearwithme thank you! When it comes to creating new stuff, I have not yet been able to create new things like the oysters (I've only been working at King for a year!). However, stay tuned
! I mostly working on creating the levels you'll see at the end of the game as well as making sure you have a great experience in Farm 
@Chicken_Slayer London is great! I've only lived here for a year and I love it. Such a big city with lots to do
@Elsa I love seeing you and all the superstars around! It's very encouraging for everyone at the studio to see how much our players care about our games

@Hijinx - My daughter and her husband live in London. She's been there for over three years now. I've had the opportunity to actually live there twice. I love it - one of my absolute favorite cities. There is definitely a wealth of things to see and do (and eat - lots of wonderful restaurants). I especially love going to the plays at the West End. 🤗💕

Hello again 😊 @Hijinx I absolutely love your tattoo! I am planning my 8th soon 🙈 I don't have an idea from which game this character is though... It was a joy to read more about you. You had me at fried chicken 😅 although I am trying to eat more healthy recently 😉
I love cropsies and all Farm games are so adorable. This week I went to the Chinese embassy to finish some administration work and while waiting in a row I saw a lady in front of me playing FHS. She played the sound just as much to hear cropsies and I almost screamed: "Which level are you on?" I think these games connect people in ways we will never be able to realize 🥰

@bearwithme I have not yet been to a play in the west end - but it's definitely on my list! I feel like I should've done that by now
@firebombmarkus Thank you! I'm hoping to get more tattoos eventually too. Whenever I see people in public playing Farm I almost want to chat to them about it, but I feel like people would think I'm weird! It is super cool when it happens though. Games definitely connect a lot of people that may not have anything in common if it weren't for them. They're good talking points!
