Hi @Lola_Pop I always love Halloween, normally either I go watch the parade or participating on the parade, last year I was on the carrying skeletons group But tonight I have to work, so there’ll be no customers party an trick or treating 🙁 Happy safe Halloween everyone 🎃

Oh, @mysticalmysty, what a pity you cannot participate on the parade this year! That carrying skeletons group looked spooooky!

    Hello!

I come from Germany and there is no Halloween tradition here. Well, the younger generations start celebrating it, too, but we have also another festivity called Sankt Martin, celebrated on the 11th of November. There are also lanterns and it is very nice. Children go for a walk with their lanterns on the street and sing songs. Here's a picture from the internet:

I always celebrate today with my son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren.  I am at their house now.  I am so disappointed because my granddaughter is dressed like Pennywise from the new IT movie.  I wanted to do my face like my granddaughter and spray my hair red.  I wanted to trick or treat as Pennywise’s mother but the store ran out of red hair color and without the red hair it won’t look good.  I was going to enter our contest here with a white face and red lines running down my face, red nose and red lips but without the red hair it won’t work.  It won’t stop me from going trick or treating with her and her friends.  So when she gets home from school I will go out with her.

    OMG @Elsa, you're such a cool grandmother!!!  <3<3

Shame on the store! How can they run out of red hair color on Halloween???

    Have fun with your granddaughter!!

I’ll probably just watch a scary movie on TV because I am in Peru and not home. But if I was home, I would wait at the end of our driveway with my husband and our two miniature Dachshunds. They would be in costume as a taco and a hot dog and we would hand out candy to the neighborhood kids as they traveled around our gated community on three hay wagons provided by neighbors.

My Halloween was quiet. It was also my late Grandfather's birthday, so I was feeling a bit down. Better today though :)

    Hello everyone!

I celebrated it in my personal way.. hehe
In Spain, it's what is called the Night of the Dead. Traditionally, the 1st of November is the day you go to the cemeteries and/or the church and you "pay" respect to your departed beloved ones.

I find that a little bit creepy and depressive and since, anyway, my granpa was incinerated, what I do is "celebrate" when he was alive.
    What does that mean?
Basically, I cook with my family the same meals he used to love the most and we enjoy the meal while remembering and telling funny stories about him and I also go hiking on this day, another of his passions

I prefer to celebrate that way rather than be sad because he's gone :3

    I love this, @QueenRaffie <3<3

And I'm sure your grandpa would love it, too.  =)

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
