I'd be with Yeti - whose name is David, really. We'll have a home-cooked dinner at our house. Probably a steak that's been marinated for several hours, with mushrooms & onions to top it, since that's his favorite. We'll be listening to "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys cuz we both like old rock & roll. And, he'd bring me flowers. Roses, in particular! We'd be celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary!
That's right! Valentine's Day is my anniversary. And, he picked the day for us to get married - not me. When my mother was alive, every year she'd laugh & say that he picked that day so that he'd never forget our anniversary. And, he never has! (So, maybe there's some truth to it.π)
He was one of my best friends then & he's still one of my best friends! I wouldn't trade him for anything! πππ

This is quite funny... I too am going on a blind date with Peter! I have no idea what heβs like so Iβm hoping some one can tell me what Iβm getting my self into π Looks like Im in for a BIG adventure since we plan to listening to The Beach Boys while fly high in a Hot Air Balloon... then end the evening while Peter quotes poems to me.. haha sounds like a fun date but wish I knew who Peter was... anybody know Peter?

π I hope @Community_Team doesn't mind me going a little off-topic here, but I need to say this for Rancid's "Public Declaration" is one of the nicest things I've read since I joined the Community.
π Dear @Rancid,
My marital status is two months away from changing and -just like you- I have never been married before. I've been engaged for about 10 months now and reading your comment to me back to the hours spent talking about rings, about a house to make a home & about dreams and the future. Your words took me back to a most magical time!
I don't follow traditions either, but I guess that when it comes to the love of our life -to the one who changed it all- there is a "folklore" that binds us humans. Cherish the 19 hours and the many more to come and may your future be filled with love & joy! β€οΈ ... Oh, BTW: also, make sure your house includes a "safe zone" for the soon-to-be stepmom (trust me, as a soon-to-be stepmom myself, I can tell you she'll need it)! π π€π #LoL
XoXo π
