@Elsa I really do like the map and the "billboard" sign is simply too cute! I have copied your link and added it to my signature. I took everything but my graphic off my signature some time ago. One of our new members had let me know that one of my links was not working correctly. First I corrected the link then I realized how often our signature information could become obsolete so I deleted all the links I had on my signature. Your one link a map and info area will definitely help solve the confusion. I really like it!

Hi everyone, great initiative!
What strikes me is that we use different links to help players. I also see other threads in other games. For example, @Elsa you created a great thread for newbies. But it refers, for example, to a thread about Game Experts while there is another thread which also refers to a very different Game Expert thread. One is more up to date than the other. As a result, players are always referred to other threads, making it all seem chaotic. At least for me. Can't we use the same index with the same threads per game and keep it up to date?

Speaking of Game Experts, does anyone else have trouble navigating to the Experts Corner? I can't seem to find a direct link to that part of the Community. I always have to search my inbox for the link Xarly provided me with when I was promoted. 😕 Maybe adding a link under the Welcome to the Community or Backstage area would be beneficial?

I work in app design/User Experience. I've researched different systems/applications to have forums like this for use anywhere. This system on King is a module that King has bought from another company called Vanilla Forums. Vanilla has some very good options but the way it is set up and then administered in King can be VERY confusing for users.
One of the first things for me is - I play multiple King games and read multiple forums. Sometimes, unless I scroll all the way to the top (when on desktop browser) I don't know what game forum I'm posting in. All look the same and Admin are on multiple games too so that doesn't help either.
Maybe changing the background color of each forum would help as a simple change.
When it comes to figuring out what to read, that's very confusing. Each game is a little bit different in the set up. It's easy to find contests in some games, difficult to find OPEN and current contests in others.
I also DO NOT like the huge signatures and the waste of real estate on most people's posts, especially moderator posts. And there's nothing to very obviously distinguish a moderator post from others. Nothing stands out.
The forum I do like is Reddit - basic, easy to find information, easy to see who is admin/moderator. minimal signatures, icons to indicate levels/admin status, EASY to see dates and times of posts (it is not easy here at all).
The levels here are confusing (about when you can post a link, etc.) but I get it. This is to control the trash and crap from inconsiderate trolls or over enthusiastic players.
I appreciate this forum, just that you're interested in feedback and hearing what people have to say and how they use this community. Its what I do in my work everyday and not every company has the courage to ask! Thanks everyone for your hard work in moderating and listening!

Many of you understand the problem with the links spot on! Players are being sent in many different directions. That is why if we all would "kiss" our signatures (keep it simple simple) and have a common link such as @Elsa is using now in her signature perhaps we would eliminate some of confusion. Check it out!

I copied Elsa's link and am using it in my signature as well. If all of our links in all of our signatures sent players to one central location (with the map and info) it would be much easier for new members. Hopefully this page could be updated as needed. We could all start out on the same page. Sounds like a plan!
