We are doing a lot of planting with bees and other wildlife in mind. I am not showing you a picture of that though because it looks a mess 🀣 we have lots of nettles and dog daisies and foxgloves (yes I know they are poisonous but I am not planning on eating them) for the butterflies and ladybirds who have yet to come. They need to hurry up because I have aphids all over my lettuces 😑 But they normally love our wild part. We also planted lavender for them and some other bee friendly flowers.

We also re-used a lot of plastic in making little plant pots for growing lots and lots of seeds this time, but we always recycle and use what we can again anyway.

I am looking at buying some ladybird larvae as I have a ready supply of food for them right now (aphids 😑) but we also have bought some caterpillars ready to be butterflies! We've done it before and not only is it a learning tool for the children, its also great for gardens as they supposedly also come back to say hello!

They are already twice their size a day later!

Working behind the bar I always refuse to give a straw to anyone that come and sit on my bar. Plastic straws are bad for the environment. Save the planet don’t use plastic 🌏

  • @Lim i really enjoyed your pictures. Thank you so much for sharing your photography. The waterfall in the wall or the terrace fountain, not sure how to say it, is something I have pictured in my mind. It is beautiful.

I live in the Monarch Butterfly Migration path, so I always make sure to have plenty of milkweed planted in my garden. I also plant flowers for the bees, but my house seems to be in a really windy area and I don’t get many visitors.

Using cloth shopping bags is an easy way for me if I am going to the store. I will also reuse paper bags if I have those. I ask the cashier to put meat or other items that may leak in there and it helps if there are any spills.

I order lots of things online. Amazon boxes make great planters for outdoor use, just use a waterproofing material on the outside and leave the bottom to drain.

Since we also live near a lake, we think about what chemicals we put on our lawn for fertilizer and pesticides. These chemicals can harm the life in the lake and throw off the algae balance.

@Lim thanks for tagging me and to everyone with such beautiful and helpful pictures and images to help the environment.

Some actions I use are donating clothes, that can be reused, that I do not need anymore. I plant flowers in my new garden, I watch my water consumption, I clean my house using newspapers and vinegar and other natural products rather than using chemicals-this makes the glass shine like no other too. I also use newspapers to wrap presents with, clean up trash around the lake in my community when it needs it. I dont kill bugs in my house-I catch them (or try my best to) and when caught I release them back out into the environment because everything here on Earth has a purpose and every purpose is important. I have posted 2 helpful images that show how you can help the ocean as well as an image on catching a spider πŸ•· in your house and releasing it back out into the environment (I personally have my own way which is getting it onto a cotton cloth and releasing it).

These other 3 photos are just so beautiful to me. It was hard not to pick more.πŸ₯°β€πŸŒŠπŸ¦‹πŸ’🏞

    Thanks for tagging me @Lim

My father always uses reusable bags so that we don't have to waste so many plastic bags and harm the environment. I do not drink through straws unless if I go out to eat. I always use real plates and not plastic or paper ones. Let's take care of nature to take care for ourselves πŸŒΈπŸŒΈπŸŒΈπŸŒ³πŸŒ³πŸŒ³πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸŒΎπŸŒΎπŸŒΎπŸŒ±
