Mine is The wild swans by Andersen (I believe). the one about a princess who had to create shirts from nettle to save her 11 brothers cursed into swans. She was almost burned at the stake in the end π

The Jungle Book is a Great Book also don't know if it qualifies as a fairy tale but it's still a favorite of mine! Of course Disney took it away from the story in the Book and transformed it into a FILM to make it a little different, but still was a GREAT MOVIE too ! Love the action and the songs that went along with the story ! β€

Since we got onto movies, there are a few. Nemo. Little fish went thru hell, just like most folks do at one point in their lives. 101 Dalmatians. What a team they were, huh? Sagway. Into black & white movies, all time scary, the voice of Vincent Price. Daracula. Tales of the Crypt. Of course, the jump out of your seat ending of Carrie (Sissy Spacek). Ahh, Rawhide. Daniel Boone. Davy Crockett. Combat. Outer Limits. 6th Sense. Y'all may not've heard of, let alone seen, any of these. Anyone remember Elvira, late night show host? Before her was Seymour.

Oops, I forgot one, Car 54, where are you? And the cop/officer says, 'ooh, ooh." Then gives some lame answer cuz he's never where he's supposed to be. Ya, black & white TV, when it was new & free to watch. And I thought we were rich cuz we had a TV. Look at technology now . . .
