Is the original Bubble Witch Saga dead after December 31 2020?

The original bubble Witch Saga uses Adobe Flash Player. But Flash will be shut down on December 31 2020. I contacted support but I got an automated answer. I want a human answer for this. Is Bubble Witch Saga 1 dead after December? Please King. Make an HTML5 version for Bubble Witch Saga 1. I don't want it to be gone! I am so worried about this. The original Bubble Witch was one of my favorite King's titles. ๐ฅ

OK, so I'm just a player and don't represent King in any way.....just so that you're aware!
I can tell you that there's a preservation project called Flashpoint, that is collecting the best loved games that will be unplayable in the Flash format after December 2020, allowing them to be played with a new launcher and an application that's safe and secure. Bubble Witch is just one of the titles that is being saved by this project!
I guess it's highly likely that you'll lose any current progress and have to start over, but at least it won't be gone forever as you feared @Candy_Player145!

It doesn't mention BW 1 as this has already ended once you reach the last level available to your device you wont receive any more also no further updates will be available. Maybe now might be a good time to play 2 or 3. Here is the link

Sweet Love HahaYeah, I know the original Bubble Witch Saga has been discontinued years ago, but it still has a total of 1210 levels to play (510 storyline; 700 eternal isles) and i would like to continue playing them on the web. I am just worried about what would happen to the FB version of BW 1 after the shut down of Flash. I play Bubble Witch 3, but still, none of them both give the same vibe as the first Bubble Witch does. I hope I will be able to continue the saga from FB...

After the death of flash we won't be able to play BW 1 on Facebook? They won't re-make the game in HTML5? Are you 100% What other games are at stake too? Oh my god, why King....... why... i can't believe this is happening.

This confirmation came from one of our CMs. I will give you the link to have a read in the link it refers to a BW2 enquiry but the information on the changes is the same for BW games. Take a look here.

0 · Helpful Woah! Sweet Love HahaThe problem with the games only going to mobile, is, I play on a computer. I have an older phone that does not support gaming. I cannot afford to upgrade for awhile.I use it for texting and calling people. And the screen is too small for games. So what do we do, those of us that still use a desktop computer to play these games? Just quit playing the games? I play the original Bubble witch, Bubble witch 2, Alpha betty saga, Candy crush soda, once or twice a year I play original candy crush(because I can never advance to another level, so I give up.)

0 · Helpful Woah! Sweet Love HahaYeah. I've got a phone I can't charge at the moment, the charger broke. But even when I buy a new charger, the games won't be the same on mobile. I play the original Bubble Witch (๐บ๐ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ด๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ, ๐ผ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ณ๐๐ป ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ช ๐ญ ๐ถ๐ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐), Papa Pear Saga, and BW 2. Used to play Soda but levels are so hard and therefore annoying so I stopped. I don't want to have to play these games on my phone. I want to continue playing on Facebook. Community Managers still haven't answered. I feel like betrayed by King.

I know this is frustrating but Facebook will not be updated anymore. We are all truly sorry about this but this is kings decision it is unfortunately out of hands. ๐
