I think ads after winning a level would be annoying. If you could get an extra life or moves or boosters after losing, it would be worth watching ads,

I believe Leo's cup is some sort of Event available to those who reach the end of the available levels. I don't really know, I'm only at 5095, still a bit far from the end of available levels, so I can't really answer that. Sorry!

Hey- Thanks for replying! I was just a little frustrated, I've never had a level go chronically bad on me like that. What I ended up doing was just earning the hats again on a lower non owl level, then once I had the big spell from the gold hat gold hat and red hat, I took another run and finally beat the level.
