If it doesn't load up and you've already troubleshooted your device then you might need to reinstall the game. As long as you actively connected your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress will be saved and can be restored. The only thing is any boosters and messages you have stored will be wiped.

As long as you actively connected your game to either of them, your progress will be saved and synced to it. What do you normally connect to then, Facebook or Kingdom? Boosters are locally stored so don't share across devices, even if logged into the same account. Did you also lose a separate set of boosters from the game…

What version do you have in that case? It was confirmed in the Wiki that it changed from 15moves: http://candycrush.wikia.com/wiki/Level_2005/Versions

If you are playing on a Windows 10, download the app from the Windows Store instead, much smoother than playing through a browser.

As long as you actively connected your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress will be saved and synced to it. If you did, when you reconnect to that account in the game again, the progress from the point where it was last synced will come up.

How many lives did you have at the time when you claimed the lives from your messages?

It's always been that way on PC, if the session is closed or restarted, any unopened messages are wiped. The only place where messages can be stored for a short while is on Mobile and Tablet.

It's possible it was readjusted. Top tip is to always watch out for the candy bombs, if one of them explodes before you've finished all your moves, the level will be considered failed regardless if you have beat the score as it's also required to use all of your moves on these ones.
