I have the same ‘fake flag’ problem on the first new episode. But just to say, @QueenB, that I always start the new episodes at about the same time ie about 3 hours after they are released, and I haven’t had this problem with the episode race for over a year. So if you wouldn’t mind passing this on to the studio, in case…

Tell me about it. It’s so frustrating that the it pops up automatically and you can’t do anything else until you’ve claimed your reward. I’ve tried closing and reopening the game multiple times but the blessed thing just won’t go away. Why can’t it have a ‘not now’ button like say Factory Frenzy? Or even better, not pop up…
