Passing levels without using bonuses

Can you get through all levels without having to purchase extras like watering can etc. love the game but there doesn't seem to be a way to earn bonuses. Level 187 you have to get 3+ major blasts and still can't get through the game. I have taken lots and lots of goes at other levels and don't mind a challenge. However I feel with level 187 you have to use bonuses to get through. I don't feel I will ever get through. Is it possible? If it is I will keep going :-)

I'm only on level 93 and I haven't used anything yet. I'm sure it's possible as its part of Kings way of gaming. I think it's something like each level can be passed without using boosters. If you check youtube you will see that a lot of people pride themselves on this.

Thanks, hadn't thought of looking there. That made me feel better. I just haven't had the luck of rows of three flowers at the bottom yet.
