I am on level 243 and have been for over a week and a half, this level is impossible to pass!! It's very frustrating, any tips?

I am level 1313, and the entire time I have been playing this game, I have always wondered what’s the difference of getting 1,2, or 3 star? There is no incentive to strive for 3 star since I don’t see getting anything but higher points.
