My Blossom Blast Saga App is asking for an update, but in my app store there is no update available (I think my iPad is too old, last available update was iOS 9.3.5) and now it seems I won't be able to continue playing without a hard reset (app remains stuck on the update message - see attachment). How do I keep my progress? It hasn't been saved online and I'm past level 5000… Help!
Hi @beschudel warm welcome to our community at Blossom Blast Saga.
You need a device with an iOS version higher than iOS 10.
Please check this message from our Community Manager:
Have a nice day. 🌺
Hi,
Thanks for your response. I understood as much. Unfortunately the game stays stuck on the "update now" message, so I can't save my progress (and transfer it to my newer device). Is there any way I can salvage my progress?
Hi @beschudel if you open the app offline, can you take a screenshot of your progress?
Can you also check whether you can update your device software?
Let me know if this works.
Hi DieOmimi,
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, when I open the app when offline, the game still remains stuck on the "update now" message and I can't go any further. When visiting the app there story, the store says there is no update available (probably because my iPad is too old).
The most frustrating part is, that I now can't even see what level I was last on (that way, customer service can reinstate my progress, minus gifts and high scores, to my new iPad) because, after loading, the app stays stuck on the "update now"
Hi @beschudel What level are you at when you log in to your new iPad?
Can you please give me your user ID when you log in on the new iPad. Go to "Profile" and double-click on the King logo above your avatar.
Now on weekends, our Community Manager is not available. But I will talk to her on Monday to find a solution.
Hi DieOmimi,
I haven't started playing on my new iPad yet, so I'm afraid that's no use.
I think I'll just have to resign myself that I won't be able to retrieve my current level.
Thanks for all the help, though!
Hi @beschudel it makes perfect sense that you install the app on your new iPad and log in to the game. If you were logged in and playing online on your old device, King has recorded your progress and boosters, and there's a good chance you'll find it all on your new iPad.
Try it. If it doesn't work, we're sure to find a solution to help you.
