A hurricane just hit Atlanta! Power is gone so my computer died & my tablet will die soon. Yeesh, awesome thing to happen on my last night of isolation post Covid. 😫 Oh boy, my luck! 🙃

It was August 2006 & I was studying for my final thesis presentation for the following day and my Mom had the greatest idea, got me a puppy! #Lol I could not pay much attention to him that afternoon as I was really studying hard but she kept pushing me to give him a name. My final thesis was about the Greek Generals of the Peloponnesian Wars and the influence they have had on war strategy. Out of them Generals, Pericles was -in my opinion & the central point of my thesis- the most influential one. So, Pericles my doggy was anointed that afternoon! #Lol (Cc. @Lola_Pop)

My new avatar is the Halloween version of the cartoon @MAW1972 drew when my dog Pericles went to the other side of the rainbow in January this year (and that cartoon is itself a version of my favorite picture of Pericles).
I hadn't realized -until I read your comment- that without the whole cartoon showing one might actually think Pericles was not a dog but a Lion with an orange mane! #Lol
