I just updated the game on my phone (Iphone 6+) and can't get past the tutorial intro showing how to use lily pads.
I've tried tracing the pattern but nothing happens. If I exit, it uses up a life. Not sure what the problem is but now I'm stuck.
Yeah! I remember this! For me the issue was that I tried to be creative and make a line that didn't do EXACTLY as the finger did. I lost a few lives before figuring it out and almost an iPad out through the window because of the frustration. :-)
You also need to tap the green arrows to the right side of tutorial text.

Maybe just exit out of the app, close it, restart it. I'm not sure why it wouldn't recognize the move.
